"No one ever wants to hear ukulele" is the most powerful insult I've heard in a minute.

I believe the descendant of Agnes Nutter in Good Omens' last name ends up being Device, which is neat!

Anathema Device - she is the one who befriends Adam (which unknowingly sets into motion several of the 'end of day' portents' by lending him her collection of new age magazines) and also gets hit by Aziraphale and Crowley's car while her riding bicycle at night which causes Agnes' book to change hands; informing the angel, among other things, "thou cocoa doth grow cold". As a super nerd with a long-standing fondness, and special connection, with Good Omens for several decades *and* having studied witch trials for even longer - I really appreciated this. While a situation like this can't truly be "enjoyed" considering the injustice of reality, hearing their story (and realizing what a masterful tribute Neil and Terry wove in for them into theirs) was something I was pleased to hear told in this way. I'm surprised I hadn't heard the historical version before (most likely due to the U.S being so focused on Salem and everywhere else being about quantity with minor exceptions for major figures like Joan of Arc) but I'm glad this was how. Although it's not technically a "respectfully" episode, I think the gang certainly handled it like one. --- Sorry for the ramble, if someone mentions G.O - I can rhapsodize bohemian.

I personally love the theme song and am genuinely trying to write an arrangement of it to dizi (Chinese bamboo flute). Rock on

I'd love to play it on guitar but I'm not a native speaker and can't entirely figure out the lyrics - which is the only reason the audio quality bothers me.

Just a couple notes about the lyrics 1) "Sweaty" is a sarcastic term of affection, a purposeful misspelling of "sweetie", there's like layers of irony 2) I am not actually sure if it's rotted or rotten, since it's supposed to rhyme with what I think is "sodden" it might actually "rotten". The vowel sounds are slightly different in my dialect, so that's why I thought it was "rotted", haha 3) "sodden" is not a very common word, it means damp or moist, specifically saturated with moisture...like the ground would be! I hope that helps!

so like, how... voluntary are the confessions of 17th century women when a man trips and has a stroke and she says "yep, I sold my soul to the devil and my mom's blood was sucked by Satan himself - it was all my fault!" Cuz like... even if I had done that, I don't think I'd confess to it.

A tough time, to be sure, but we should be grateful for the hard work of the witch hunters of yesteryear, it's thanks to their efforts that we can be sure all our public officials are noble, hard working people, pure in Christian thought and deed, and free of the corruption of witchcraft. God bless ye, gentlemen.

Okay so I just recently found y’all so I know I’m a year late… but I shall be so disappointed if we don’t rename the tools of Witchcraft, henceforth and heretofore, as Demdike Devices. Is that your wand? Nope. That’s one of your Demdike Devices. Need some essential oils? No you don’t. You need some Demdike Device Drops. Mortar and Pestle? Now it’s your handy dandy Double Demdike Device. I’ve had three grand mal seizures in two days. I’ll just show myself out.
