There might be some slight differences between the calculated numbers and the actual numbers in the game due to extra rounding or something like that. Also, I am talking about the RideBonusValue list and EIN values list as two seperate lists because when I wrote this script they were still their own lists in the code. When I was editing this video I discovered that those lists were removed so I made my own big list with all values in it.

Also we have split up ride types just slightly in a recent change so the bit at 6 minutes might not be fully correct anymore.

I always read EIN values as eigenvalues, then I get super angry because I can't remember what those are. Probably matrix stuff. Stupid matrices.

This was a thing I figured out about back when I played vanilla RCT2 as a kid. I would save my coasters as pre-built custom designs and then just delete the ride and rebuild it in the same spot. Luckily, OpenRCT2 has both the "renew ride" feature, plus the cheat to renew all of your rides at once. Of course, if you're using cheats anyway, may as well just use the "999 park rating" cheat directly, haha.

I like keeping my OG rides because they carry their lifetime guest count and revenue stats, so having the renew or refurbish feature is excellent. I wouldn't even mind if it cost as much money as building a new one or required the ride to be closed. All about keeping that first merry go round!

Like why intense rides contribuated more to park value than gentle rides.

Glad to have you back, always enjoy your content. Hoping you could make a vid on the mechanics of rain? I know the majority of how it works (Umbrellas, guests not wanting to ride "unsheltered" rides [most] and significantly increasing desire to ride "Sheltered" rides [like merry go round and observation tower]) but otherwise I was wondering if there was much more to it than that, and even if you could go into more detail on what sort of changes it does make to preferences. I'll also be honest, I'm mainly asking cause im currently playing through Thunderstorm park, and it sparked my interest in it

Yeah, I don't expect anyone to play as optimized as possible. When try these tricks once or twice you get a feeling for how they work and then you can incorporate them into your more realistic parks without it seeming too unrealistic.
