It still feels kind of weird to speak of in-game events and Tall Tales as history, even though it's correct. Especially the things that happened after I started playing SoT, lol. Thank you for these videos, I learned a lot about the lore from you! :D

Yeah, that's kind of the downside to adventures, they're limited-time events, unlike Tall Tales. You can do Tall Tales whenever you feel like it and as many times as you want, but not Adventures. I started playing this game only within the last year, so I've missed most of the adventures.

It’s nice to know the origin of the Fat Ghost and why he sits in a chair, great vid dude.

Another top tier video, as central as it is to the lore I've never adored the history of Athena's fortune. The other companies always seemed more interesting to me. Although they do have some of the best characters, Mercia is still one of my favourites and I'm holding out hope we can maybe meet her in the sotd some day. I must ask though now that she was mentioned here, is there a Briggsy video at some point in the future 👀

Yes, I reckon I can do her after the Pirate Lord and Flameheart

My biggest question is about the amount of ships the Pirate Lord has. There's the Magpie's wing, which is wrecked at that unnamed island with the shroudbreaker, the Magpie's Fortune at Old Sailor's Isle (how'd it get there and why?) There's the one that makes up the PL tavern called Athena's Fortune, if that was even a real ship used, and then the other one in the PL hideout but I don't think that was his. Hopefully you answer this conundrum for me.

He's had 4 as far as we know. Magpie's Fortune Magpie's Wing Magpie's Glory Athena's Fortune. I assume all of them were sunk, as 3/4 were.

Magpies Fortune was his first ship. He crashed it on old sailors isle before he ever came to the sea of thieves. The magpies wing of course is the ship he then commissioned to navigate the shroud with. Athena’s fortune was his final ship which he sailed on until his retirement. At some point he commissioned the magpies glory but it’s unclear if he ever actually used it or if it was gifted to someone else. Or kept as just a spectacle.

Can't wait for an in-depth Pendragon review. So people will finally realize that we lost a great warrior instead of thinking we lost a loser who couldn't do anything right

I would like to see a video for flameheart just so more people know about the lore behind him and the faction as I feel that they aren't discussed well enough in game. I'm loving the vids keep it up

having community events determine the outcome of major story points is actually amazing. Though I assume it's taxing as you basically need to wait and see what happens

Hello ! Appreciate these videos and was wondering if you would ever do a video with EVERYTHING. So from the begining of the pirate lord to the present with the changes to the world and the factions' creation.

Love your videos. Been playing off and on since launch but the past few seasons hooked me and I've been looking for SoT's version of Destiny's My Name is Byf, and some of the other youtubers weren't what I was looking for but yours is great.

Update idea, 2 npc ships that bear the sails of the trading companies and the reapers, this could end up being a free ally if you sail under the same faction or an enemy based on your current faction. These would only appear on more empty servers in order to avoid lag.

Another great video!! I really love the story behind the Sea of Thieves, but I will admit that I can't really keep up with all the characters & story, despite videos like this. But that's probably my ADHD 🤣

It’s funny how they say anyone caught betraying the athena alliance was let go considering how that doesn’t seem to work against the player character plot armor and you know those who die return back to their ship after the ferry finds them meaning they can go and tell on them to daddy ramsy lol

Ever notice the spiral effect on the lower half of all the ghost characters is gone since the introduction of the ghost curse

Belle is cool af but its shocking how little we know about who is basically the main person we interact with and go to war with when Athena's Fortune need something done, not to mention shes the mystical one that uses magic or whatever else to clear up a lot of the messes. I've always enjoyed the idea that shes an ancient of some sort, perhaps one left behind when the rest of her people moved to the sea of the damned. I hope they don't pull some weird stuff like making her the wife of the great warrior or something and actually give her a backstory of her own to stand on. After all this time shes really the greatest question we have

Beautiful video. Wow, when you describe the arc of Adventures last year, it really sounds like an epic struggle (starting to miss them already). Thank god Reapers beat Athena to resurrect Flameheart though, or it would’ve been such a disappointing white wash for the year.
