At night, there are additional sounds to the usual sounds you can hear at night on the islands. Some music that can't be heard anywhere else. Which is very creepy. The island is haunted. Who knows what else is there...

Unless it’s recently been patched to “always move the storm,” the pirates life tall tale definitely DOESN’T “always move the storm.” It’s more like 50% of the time.

Wanda's workshop isn't even for a tall tale. It's from an event that happened during year one, which led to the adding of skeleton ships to the game

@@magicpyroninja I did not know that, I joined the game not long after the skelly ships update and had only seen it used as part of the timed world events and the one tall tale (I have honestly forgot the name of it but it was to do with stitcher Jim I think) so thanks for the correction

I've heard an extra set of footsteps on that island before. But it could have easily been someone messing with me. I didn't investigate bc I just assumed it was a player so I was looking for a tucker instead.

He is not trolling. There are genuinely no spawn spots for megalodons. You're likely to get attacked by one as you leave the Shores of Gold because of how the spawn logic works, but it's not related to the physical location. The likelihood of being megged goes up over time, and if you spend a long time somewhere you can't get megged like Shores of Gold, as soon as you leave, your odds go from zero to very high instantly, frequently resulting in getting megged as you leave the Shores of Gold. The reason it keeps happening in the same place is because that is the only place you can be when leaving Shores of Gold, not because that place has a megalodon spawner in it.

ehm megalodon cant spawn if it doesnt have a spawn spot so next time please use your brain, thats why we have one
