As a merchant ambassador, you could not have described me and my crew better. We are so paranoid that we have developed a ‘player check’ tick. You’ll often see more than one of us with our spyglasses out checking the horizon. 😅

I own 6 sloops that represent the different trading companies, as well as one that serves as my main ship. I wish people just used what they think looks good without worrying too much about weird advantages and what group they belong in, feels like I see the same ship sets over and over again on the seas

I’ve got 300 hours into the game and I use the ashen dragon set just cause I think fire in general is cool, I know the stereotypes like the guy in the video said how they’re all wannabe sweats, but like you said I just use it cause I like it even though I could rock just about any other ship set 😂

@@michaelrinaldi2620 It’s a fantastic set, I like seeing it on the seas because it reminds me that there are people who just like what they like. My main sloop uses the Hunter set, often associated with new players but I just like that it looks piratey. I just swapped out the regular sail for the Dawn Hunter one because I really like the design.

The Order is my favorite. I mean think about it. Almost all raids/ community events gives out some decent skull of some kind. Skellies are easy money. Skelly ships pop outta nowhere all the time. And the sets aren't half bad at all. Plus more than half of messeges in a bottle are for order.

I just love the voodoo aesthetic and they may give less loot in their voyages but the quality of them equals out the quantity of something like gold hoarder with all the tiny little trinkets.

I'm slightly offended as an ashen dragon main, then I remembered the 9yo ragers using it I've encountered and it checks out.

Its almost always annoying little kids using anything that glows. They've completely ruined the Ashen and Sunken curses for me.

As someone who often uses the merchant set, that was dead accurate.

I love my wild card shipset, mixed and matched pieces that I like or go well together.

*laughs in aggressive reaper boat* Every time we run the whole reaper set we try to sink everyone we see (except fishing boats cause they are super chill). 😂 Great video dude! Keep it up.

As an Ori fan myself, I was sad when I was late for the original twitch drop for the Ancestral set. Whenever I came across any flying the colors of MoonShine studios, I thought they would be friendly. Oh, was I a sweet summer child; they come after me RELENTLESSLY. Didn't matter if you were doing your own thing, they'd stomp over solo sloops like me back then. It came to a point that if ever I saw those sails on the horizon, I would turn my ship around and hope they didn't see me. However, now that I got the ship set for myself recently, I sail my "Spirit of Nature" with pride. So now you're at least able to find ONE Ori fan on the seas.

Found a parrot brig at an outpost once. Was tired and about to leave so even though I was solo with a ship full of loot I parked at the outpost and began to sell the loot. They literally sat there playing instruments and watched me sell it. Heck one of them even helped me unload the loot but yet handed it to me to sell.

Damn, that Merchant assessment was pretty apt. I mainly fly the merchant sails because I like the colour, but clearly I fit the stereotype

The merchant one is relatable to me, I rock this on my sloop and I don't go after anyone unless they come near me showing no signs of being friendly and fight to survive.

the xbox set is sooo accurate, only thing you missed out ifs how you can get on their ship and nobody will attack you for a while it takes them time before theyre like wait a minute i think thats an enemy and then swords out swiping at you from so far away until they make contact 🤣😂 it should really be the NPC set

As someone who does Merchant ambassador a lot, we are pretty chill and easy going. But as soon as you threaten our shipping lanes or our money intake, your marked for death.

my ship is a mix of lionfish set, bear and bird set, and sunshine parrot set as the colors all mix very well together :)

You’ll be glad to know my Parrot ship, aptly named “The Merry Parrot” is my pride and joy on the sea of theives, and I fly my alliance flag high

to be fair, i run the full ashen dragon set with "sunken dreams" flag because i spent the time grinding out all the tomes to get EVERY commodation for the set well before they combined ashen key and ashen guardians together into 1 NPC and you still had to buy the key quests from lorana for like 10 or was it 50 dubloons

I go for the dark not flashy cosmetics as a solo sloop I like to run a low profile. Find that in the night time people are less likely to spot you with the inky kraken hull.

Nightshine Parrot here. Use this color because dark blue is my favorite and I have a blue/green parrot myself in irl and decide to buy the parrot mascot with the dublons.

I have a little fox channel (fox family comes to my door every morning) and I paired the Infinite Depths set with Inky Kraken sail. Looks rather perfect, as my char name is Ninetails (Sail looks more vulpine than kraken honestly). The little "whiskers" on the front hull are just a bonus. Hope Rare makes a fox figurehead one of these days. There is one on the unicorn rainbow thing... But not my taste. 😅

I personally use the inky kraken sails but don’t use any of the other parts cus the sails are kinda cut out at the bottom They also just look cool

I actually like the ashen set I see your point though. I don’t shoot first kind of the broken merchant mindset but can turn around on anyone if they make a mistake. I wouldn’t call myself try hard though. But hey just me. Just felt like giving a case example for my favorite full set. It’s 🔥 lol

im not even close to wanna be tryhard when using full inky kraken XD i just like it so much bc the color combo is fire thats why im using full set with dark smith sails

after the DA sails nerf, the regular kraken sails actually looks good with the insider hull becouse the darker parts on the hull have like a purple tint to it, and we can actually kinda see through them

Venomous kraken sails look great with the shackled phantom hull and FotD figurehead. And that huge hole on the right really helps.

My sloop be barnacled and it's the only set that's gotten me compliments, granted from people sinking me.

Add on: Magpie‘s glory sets. Most of my time they are really nice, but if you start shit, they will whop your ass with eas, while doing a flof and a fort

For me, I change up my cosmetics every so often, both clothes and ship. Currently running with the Aurora Borealis ship set. Normally on sloop, but do occasional brigantine adventures, and am very chill. Also, you forgot Eastern Jade Dragon and the infamous Arena sets.

I consider myself an average player not bad and I use the ashen dragon set sometimes (except for the cannons there too bulky) and I just think it looks cool and a lot of my friends agree

Ahhh, another shipset slander video where my shipset skates under the radar; the shipwreck/wandering reaper shipset. I'm not talking Flameheart reaper, I'm talking old-school, black and white, literal grim reaper aesthetic shipset. It's so rare to see that everyone skips it.

I had two bottom feeders go in guns blazing on me while I was fishing and sold my stuff raw to the sea port. (I caught up and found one of them at the trading post with my crate but the fish were gone. There's no way to cooked them in the amount of time) The real sad thing is I had alliance flag up and all the rare fish were in my inventory. These guys would literally have made more had they allied with me instead.

Damn, I’ve mostly only done OOS voyages and I’ve never sailed with their ship decorations. Mostly because I don’t like the color scheme too much. The full set does look nice though.

I'm sorry I have never seen Stich inside the ship set, but I definitely haven't seen Ori either... Bro that thing looks so much like a light fury I have lost my mind💀
