Alexander Lightwood it kinda sucked because it wasn't character development which would have been fine, they just started writing Kol completely different. There was no story arc, it was just "now that I've met and immediately fallen in love with this 16 year old child my whole personality is going to change."

Alexander Lightwood Yearh it was nice to see a different side to him than just a lunatic, i mean meeting Davina plus not being a Vampire in season 2 was why he was so different, no heighten’d emotions, but still some of the same personality traits we saw in TVD, it just gave him more depth.

The casting was on point. Daniel (Elijah) and Nate (Kol) looked like brothers. Claire (Rebekah) and Joe (Klaus) looked like siblings. Joe looked like Sebastian (Mikael), even tho they weren't really father and son. Riley (Freya) looked just like Alice Eve (Esther). Casper (Finn) resembled Daniel and Nate too.

That isn't actually true. We saw Klaus grief after Kol was killed in TVD because he was right there when it happened. But that doesn't mean that Elijah and Rebekah didn't grief as well. Elijah loves all his siblings equally. He has always put them first and was the only one who is always there for them when they needed him. That's why you can see that Kol actually looks up to him, more than any of his other siblings. Kol didn't _only hug Klaus_ on purpose, it just kind of happened in the moment. But that doesn't mean that he doesn't love Elijah or Rebekah nor that they love him any less.

@@ellaark5131 Sure, they didn't have a lot in common but they did have a good relationship. That is why Kol opened up to Elijah about his hunger for blood and his fear about hurting Divina and why he decided to come back with Rebekah and get revenge when they thought Elijah was killed.

Has anyone noticed that everytime Kalus's siblings appear he seems to fear Kol the most? It's written all over his face. I wish Kol was on The Originals full time. I would've love to see how crazy Kol actually is. He would've definitely changed the dynamic of the show. Kol vs Elijah and Klaus with Rebekah in the middle. The series is already good, but it would've been even better with Kol and Rebekah on full time.

Chris Davis Oh no, Kol isn't stronger than Klaus. Elijah yes. Klaus no. Kol and Klaus I believe would be an even fight but Klaus would come out on top. I think Kol is the second strongest vampire (Behind Mikael) as Klaus is a hybrid and technically isn't a vampire.

Chris Davis Personally seeing how the only thing Klaus was threatened with in early tvd was Kol, and that's by Elijah basically teases that Kol is stronger than Elijah. It's just that tvd dropped the ball with that as they didn't know what to do with him, or Finn for that matter. But as Klaus was always threatened with Kol translates that Kol is the second strongest of his kin and would put up the best fight against Klaus. Why else would Elijah always bring up not Finn, not Rebekah, but Kol? But that's just my opinion

I love the moment when Kol throws Klaus. There's something so satisfying about it. Not even as part of the story. Just the way the body arcs as it flys through the air and the sound as it hits the ground. I play that moment on repeat.

Thank God Kol didn't start fighting with his siblings. That would have been a chore to watch. I'm glad they can just welcome him back and take him back into the family fold.

@@boiwutyousaywatupdawg5314 nono Kol can't beat Rebekah or Elijah as for Finn it's a debate because of several factors. 1 Elijah and Rebekah are much more skilled than Kol and Finn well again it's a debate but him possibly as well since he was a willing warrior and Kol wasn't due to being too young. Kol is the arguably the least skilled original simply because 1 he spent most his life daggered to have as much experience or knowledge of fighting as the rest aside from Finn and 2 because he was always more interested in magic than vampirism so he never truly honed his vampire abilities which is why Damon, Elena and Klaus all outskilled him in fights. 2 because Kol is a lot weaker than Elijah and seemingly Rebekah as well in terms of strength and speed because an original that is daggered does not grow in strength until they are undaggered this is evident by the fact that Lucien was shown to be much stronger than Kol in 3x16 easily pinning Kol up against a wall with 1 arm and no difficulty whatsoever holding him there so that proves that Kol is not as strong as Elijah who could easily overpowerer Lucien.

Klaus lol always has such interestingly lines...I always find myself rooting for his enemy's.. The mistress was an accident hope Cortez isn't too upset about that

I think a lot of people underestimate how much Klaus loved Kol. They may have always been at odds but when Kol called him, Klaus rushed to the Gilbert house to save him and seemed to be the sibling that took his death the hardest. Probably because he died right in front of him.

Well to be fair, if they hadn't done that, Davina would have resurrected Kol, just for him and them to die at Daliah's hands, because without Ester's blood, there wasnt a way to defeat Daliah, so it would have been a very useless resurrection.
