They really didn’t ever have respect for them, Marcel and Rebekah would be the 2 that might have had any shred of respect. Any others Davina and Kol and their happiness seemed to be at the bottom of everyone’s lists. I mean Elijah and Freya sacrifice Davina for the love of god!

I'd say despite all the times they've hurt one another the Mikaelsons most definitely care about each other in particular Klaus anytime Kol was killed he was the first to attempt to avenge him and always mourned him.

I wish Finn was in the series more. There could’ve been room for a lot of development and interaction between him and his family in subsequent seasons.

About to turn Finn into the Original Bonfire after kicking Finn's ass *despite* being younger and less skilled than Finn. Kol destroyed Finn here and everyone, even Finn, Elijah, and Freya knew Kol had. Setting Finn on fire would have just been the coup de grace.

Yes he is weaker but Finn is still more skilled so the fight could go either way I think generally Finn is considered superior because Kol gets beaten up by younger vampires constantly where as Finn still has some contact with his Viking side since he was awake shorter and hadn't grown too arrogant with his strength

Well pure strength doesn't equate to experience + strength kol spent more time outside the coffin than Finn so it's normal for that to happen Klaus and Elijah are equivalent precisely because they're the most time practicing that than his brothers and sister

Actually the Mikaelson's strength was never equal, the spell that made them vampires just amplified their human qualities. When they were turned Kol was around 18 and Finn probably 27 so there's a big difference in strength, that also explains why Mikael was so strong comparing to the others, he was an adult and a fighter when he was human. So originally Finn is stronger than Kol, but we also know that vampires get stronger as they age but the fact that Finn spent most of his life daggered must have stopped his abilities from "upgrading" as a normal vampire does, because of that Kol is stronger and also waaay more experienced in fighting. So it would be really hard for Finn to ever win a fight against Kol, as it is hard for Kol to win against Elijah and Klaus.

Robert Staples Did you not see Finn break his hand even though Kol was angry. Kol had more experienced, hence why he won. They were all turned the same night. I will admit Kol is kinda dangerous when he is angry but so is Elijah & Klaus & even Rebekah too sometimes. She can very dangerous when angry also but I will say that Elijah was able to subdue her with 1 hand to the throat after she tried to kill Elena I don't see Kol beating Elijah & Klaus. They have way too much experience over him. Klaus casually threw Finn around like a rag doll & an angered Kol struggled against Finn who lacked experience & has been in a box for 900 years. We seen Elijah hold back Klaus multiple times & actually gave him a tough time more so than Kol did. Klaus, Elijah & Mikael can beat Rebekah, Finn, & Kol in my opinion

They made Finn too weak. Daggered for 900 years or not, he was the oldest. He was like 28 when he turned while Kol was 17ish. Thus in vampiric years he should be stronger the same way Elijah and Mikael are due to being older. Not including Klaus because his hybrid side gives him a boost. Most 28 year olds are not losing a fight to high schoolers. The logic of being weak because of being daggered doesn’t even hold water because Silas was petrified for 2,000 years and immediately got his powers back after feeding. Finn should’ve been a lot stronger than he was portrayed.

Actually, I think Rebekah was 18ish, Kol was 19ish, Elijah and Klaus, perhaps mid-20's, and Finn, maybe 30. Mikael would have been maybe late 40's. Here's the thing, they were all turned at the same time, and in actual years, Kol is far more experienced than Finn at fighting. Kol was actually part of the world for most of his life, minus a century, while Finn was only really alive for about 100 years, the rest of the time he was dormant, in a box. I think he would have beaten Kol by virtue of being older right after they were turned, but this is a millennium later.

@@randomfullywonderful Its been confirmed Elijah was born late 977 to early 978 and they were turned November 1001, in seasons 2 and 3 of The Originals, making him no older than 24. Klaus is at least 3 years younger and his birthday was confirmed in seasons 2 and 5 of TVD to be between January and March. Kol is no more than 18. Rebekah no more than 17.

@@yannickcolot2319 This. Finn is *physically* stronger, but overall Kol is the better combatant because he has more experience than Finn, he's fought more vampires, he's probably fought Klaus or Elijah at some point. Kol knows *how* to fight, whereas Finn has centuries less experience than Kol.

Davina should've minded her own business.That is a Mikealson family matter.If Kol wasn't there she would've been VERY DEAD.She really walked into the Mikealson household ALONE as if she is truly brave and fearless and powerful enough to challenge any member of that family alone and live to tell the tale.Stupid ass people tend to forget that the only reason Davina lived as long as she did is because Cami made Klaus promise to never hurt her!......PERIOD!

I have a theory: Kol's behavior is a side effect of the spell that Davina used to bring him back. I mean, he has been a vampire for thousand years. It's impossible that he is that bad at controlling himself (even if he never really needed to do it). And he said that his hunger and anger are getting stronger. And a witch of the Strix-coven told Davina that she would loose everything.

But i will say finn got tired of everyone beating him torturing him as a witch so i believe he finally adapted to his true body he like the power and that he couldnt die he started to adapt and become an original and he was strong

Davina thought he was monster as a vampire, the thing he did bad as a vampire was that he hated been one,only until he meet Sage where he wanted to spend the rest of his life w/her and his younger siblings disapproved of her anyway,so he turned her anyway. then for the last 900yrs his siblings kept him daggered in a coffin since the Five caught them out as vampires. &he just woke what like: 3-4yrs ago. &still died after like a month awake. then maybe a year or2 later he comes back as Finncent &gets shunned by her. bc his siblings didn't care about him, called him the Black-Sheep Mikaelson. Yeah,I would hate been called that too,all bc he hated what his mother made him into. So,Davina gets her revenge against Finncent killing her boyfriend,his little brother. When Davina should know better to just stay away from vampire business. Witches have been saying it for centuries on end,ever since The Mikaelsons became the first family of vampires. Even though,I get why Finn was punished. But, atm he's like Mikael 2.0 rn bc Kol's girlfriend locked Finn in his OGbody, who's to say he had a choice, Koleb didn't have a choice by Esther and she still punished him for failing her. All bc,when he was Finncent he just tried to kill his siblings. Anyone would be angry,if their siblings were Klelijah/Kolbekah who abandoned him,as they never truly loved him, like he never loved them either, it was always Freya, Finn loved more. I was just kinda glad Freylijah&Lucien showed up when they did. Kol almost set Finn aflame and he got scared ~W0W!

Yes,he was hated as Finncent, not OGFinn. Davina should relate to him,bc her own mother sacrificed her to the Harvest ritual,she was abandoned by her own father. Finn was abandoned by his own siblings/his father,but never his mother. The only kind of monster he became was a powerful witch, possessing a witches body. He never truly killed anyone as a vampire,only once. Davina doesn't know what his siblings put him through for 900yrs &that's a long time to hold a grudge esp if you've been in a slumber for that long. That's why he wanted that bullet,so he could die since he couldn't leave his own body,bc of Davina she's broken Klaus' sire line that has made Klayley&Hope flee NOLA from the Strix. &now w/Kol back,his side effects are worse bc it was all Klaus' power from his sire line that brought him back. She's basically got Kol killed but by a slow&painful death. &Finn imprisoned him in his OGbody bc he was a savage as a witch lastyr, he's a Mikaelson &she's dating one. &didn't think Kol would ever hurt her,when he almost did in this episode. Elijah has been making poor decisions throughout this entireEP.

Since Klaus had left NOLA, he's gonna be pissed about his first sire,been Lucien has taken Freya. The only1 who isn't around the drama that's going on here: is Rebekah. &she's still the one that's missing. &Elijah hid her. I really hope Freya IS saved, &both Lucien&Vincent dies. bc they've finally outran their course on this show,same goes for Davina. She's broken TOs so much,she doesn't even care what the consequences of her actions by resurrecting Kol would have the Ancestors do to him. Stupid foolish girl, I felt sorry for her in S1 bc she was a victim, lastyr she learning more about magic,etc so much more w/Mikael &Koleb. But, this season. She's pissed me off more times than any witch has,if she hates the Mikaelson's so much. Why doesn't she just leave NOLA w/Kol and never look back,but he won't leave not until Bex is cured. bc now Josh could be dead,the only friend she had left, it's her fault though. The consequences of breaking Klaus' sire line, &making the first part of the prophecy come true, when she was told not to countless times by Kol in the Ancestral Realm, all bc she wanted him back. So, one sire line has to suffer while she pretends to be happy w/her boyfriend back from the dead and she doesn't realize what's going on w/him in the process. Arianne was right, Davina would lose everything, starting w/Kol. bc in the end,she'll probably betray Kol as he'll always choose his family over her. Always &Forever. He's a thousand yrs old. Kol will easily get over her, after he's calmed down. esp if it's Lucien that gets Davina to betray Kol and then kills her in front of him. This all started bc of Davina's choice to break Klaus' sire line. Davina IS the reason Lucien took Freya, has the last white oak bullet. &still Kol forgave her for breaking Klaus' sire line and making his enemies come to NOLA tryna kill him. Davina has to go. I'm sorry. But, HER/Vincent &Lucien are no longer needed. Just causes more drama, more problems and more heartache that TOs don't need. Esp, Klayley who are trying to raise Hope w/o her father's enemies tryna kill him. Davina didn't even think about Hope, to hurt Klayley. His enemies could harm/kidnap that little girl. Hasn't she been through enough. Almost sacrificed for Esther's needs so Dahlia didn't return &when she did, she had Hope, now Hope can't have a normal life bc of what Davina has done to Klaus' sire line hunting him down.

Unpopular opinion: I fucking love Finn, like so much, I wish we got to see more of him. Also, I hate Davina with a burning passion, byeeee.

The best part isn’t what Kol did, it’s what he didn’t do. The old him wouldn’t have hesitated to manipulate Davina into finding a spell to trap Finn in his body. He wanted her as far away from Finn as possible.

Nah normally I like Kol and Davina together, but actually Finn was right that Kol didnt change. He just has killed an innocent girl in the last Episode and Finn actually didnt kill as many humans as all of the other Michaelson did. However on the other side it is good, that Davina didnt already gave up on Kol.

***** I see, didnt know about that interview, thanks for pointing that out. However he still is responsible for the murder of that girl. He just could have gone to a hospital and steal a blood bag, but he has chosen to attack a girl on the street instead. You are excusing him way too much. And it doesnt help that girl, that he cries over it now. Dont forget, that he enjoyed mass murder over hundreds of years. Thats why I am sceptical, if he really changed and how long the relationship with Davina will last/ how long his change will last. Sure he really seems to want to be with her, but who knows, if he really can as a vampire. She apparently doesnt know about him killing again, so I wonder, what she will do, if she finds out. She already didnt believe Finn, when he told her about Kol in the past, so apparently Davina doesnt really know. with whom she fell in love. Kol did horrible things in the past, he can never put right again.Actually it doesnt make sense, Davina blames Klaus for being a cold blooded murder, but she falls in love with another one. About Finn, we didnt saw him killing someone during Vampire Diaries and we will see how high his morals really are, if he doesnt get killed off very soon again. I hope not.

Haha, as if he still have conscious to do that, and you said like he had any "choice". He was completely unaware of what he was doing, until his bloodthirst was satisfied. He totally lost control. Example, he almost hurt Davina even he didn't mean that. He really want to be a better person for Davina, but he just couldn't, because something wrong happened to him. Yes, maybe he cried but this couldn't help that innocent girl he killed. But this also is not his fault. And yes, he used to enjoy killing people, he used to be a psychotic maniac, but not anymore. Past is past, it means it's over. He never felt bad for killing anyone before, but now he did, that means he changes. And if you don't agree, I really don't know how is "change". And that don't not make sense, when she falls in love with Kol, because the main reason she hates Klaus wasn't because Klaus is a cold blooded murder, was because of what Klaus did to her and people she loves (Klaus killed Tim, he turned Josh into a vampire, he poisoned her...). And Kol died because of helping her save her friends. And about Finn, I agree that he used to be a moral man in TVD, but now he was nothing expect a hypocrite. He murdered his own brother, cursed him to death and intended to kill his niece - an innocent baby just because he was fear that Dahlia would killed him for the baby (how moral he is ). And he also wanted to die because he doesn't want to be a vampire, so it's good if they killed him off, and I would like to see Kol brings that mercy to him.

Kol changed for Davina but if someone tries to hurt her he'll kill them without a second thought he has all the power of an original but with none of the restraint that's why Klaus was afraid of him back in tvd cause he has no restraint because when it comes down to it kol is the only one that would actually kill him Elijah loves his family too much and Rebekah well we all know how she is but kol Klaus knows kol wouldn't stop until he is dead on the floor

Finn was heavily influenced by his crazy mother. He deserved better and a chance to enjoy a normal life and to bond with his siblings.

@@MansaMusaRJ he was the mamas boy and not a bully but looked down on his siblings while human so they decided to leave him as he was also truly judgmental of them all the time. I forgot what episodes they each speak about him. When he died he finally understood Always and Forever but since the actor retired and only came back temporarily as a favor to Julie plec we didn’t get to see him bond with them without Esther’s influence. There was hope for character development especially with freya there to help them heal

Lol. The Originals respect Kol. I see it in Elijah. Even klaus carried a dagger in prep for Kol after a tie.

If Elijah probably tried Klaus's approach then Kol will be fighting him instead of Finn. Secondly, have you realized that Kol does not really fear anyone. He is the reason He and Elijah got bitten by Marcel. Even in the rescue of Klaus in S4E02 he was already trying to challenge Marcel again but Klaus employed Diplomacy
