Of course the first sighting of a giant tentacle creature would be in Japan. For gods sake is there ANY other country associated with tentacles? Any at all?

the picture for the video is very misleading, I assumed this video was going to be about a giant squid banana... there was a giant squid but it was significantly lacking any banana traits

What is dead may never die..
I thought the title was “most of the giant banana squid”.
I like your unique style of discussing any animal while drawing it using the computer as background.
Great documentary! Thanks for the video! And the Game of Thrones references fitted perfectly in the video :)
Dragons!
Awesome videos! I see this channel getting bigger and don't think it's going to do anything but grow faster from here. I love seeing talented creative people get recognized for their work. I can't wait till you get huge then I can be an Animalogic hipster and tell everyone I was here in the beginning before it was so popular.
Also, it's important to note the difference between arms and tentacles. Octopuses have eight arms and no tentacles, squid and cuttlefish have to tentacles and eight arms. And all of the nautiluses appendages are considered tentacles. The difference being that tentacles are only used for feeding, whereas arms are used for both feeding, as well as manipulation of objects, eating and swimming, Etc
The fennec fox! It's super adorable! I'd keep one as a pet if i can

Yaaass! SO happy to see you've done a video on squids! I'm about to study marine biology at university and these lil' fellas are my speciality :)
I'm not emotionally ready to hear the phrase "game of thrones" yet... Haven't gotten over the hurt.
Keep up the good work! I love your channel!
Had no idea your channel has been around so long!
She has too much fun with this and I love it 😂😂❤️
1:56 and there you have it ! people calling me crazy for not swimming in the sea xD
"So, why should we give you 10 million yen to spend 2 years searching for a Giant Squid?" Researchers - "Because Tentacle Hentai very sexy" "Here's 20 million, I expect results gentleman... and very exciting results at that... hehehe"
I cabt believe this was uploaded in 2015, how did I miss it for 5 years?
just found this channel love the content, and you're charming personality :)
literally an extra leg. My spirit animal.
I thought the early sketches was a crack on my screen 😩
That speed drawing in the bg is soooo satisfying to watch.
You do a great job as a commentator!
Your narrations are fun to watch.
wow she looks more beautiful now such a change in just 4 years
We do not know! Lol great video as always!
Nothing could make my day better than finding out there's some realistic basis for the idea of a kraken, god bless the horrific ocean
Imagine if the real kraken lives for thousands of years and giant squid are just babies that stray too far to the surface
I never expected an “explained” episode about Fifty Shades of Grey lol
I love your presentation. A real person telling me things i don't know. Whoever put you out front made the right choice. Daddy, mommy and 4 year old girl. Love your shows. Thank You.
Awwww that intro was so cute
that squid in the original 0:45 is a depiction of the "colossal" squid. it's shorter mantle and massive fins are the give away; Archeteuthus is slimmer
pleas make an episode on lynx.
Even though the kraken is exaggerated , imagine being on a small sailboat and you see this bad boy under the surface. I'd shit bricks.
Love ur vids animalogic team😊
Zeus: Release the Kraken! Hades: 😊 Kraken: RAWWWRRRR!!!!
There's a giant squid in a preservation tank in the natural history museum in D.C and it's my favorite part xD
I'm in love with Danni, anyone else see where I'm coming from?
Hey humble squid enthusiast here, i can't help but notice that when you were talking about the giant squid and the colossal squid you had 2 pictures of a colossal, not a giant and a colossal in silhouette
Hmm any animal from game of thrawns (don't get mad by me misspelling the thrones) I'd choose dragons
The myth of the kraken has its origins from norway and is most likely the collosal squid
Well done!
I got a curiosity stream ad about Animalogic before this video.
now I have to see every video!
0:00 What an intimidating cry, I felt the ground moving after that call for the kraken
The Kraken looks Krakalacon on this Kalafragilistic day and it must be Kala clumsy and Kala Crazy
Recommended in 2019. Still the coolest thing ever!
Giant squids are apparently PACKING
Another amazing episode! Do Jaguars, please.
That was the least frightening "Release the Kraken" ever 😃
We need to learn more about these squids. From colossal and giant to the Magnapinna. I need to know more!
Omg i read “ the origin of Karen” and I snorted so loud 😂
Great Videos!
• has very old school parents • assumes it’s safe to walk into living room watching science stuff • parents hear the word “penis” • both parents look at me in shock • wishes that parents weren’t so shocked that their 18 year old son knows what the word “penis” means
I'm not very familiar with Game of Thrones, but a video about the Komodo dragon would be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Dragons??? yeahh?)
Wait... The Host is also the Artist for the time-lapse sketches!? Wow, that's really cool! Those are fantastic drawings, do you color them? Personally, I'd like to see that.
I came here for a “Giant Squid Banana”
I love giant squids! Thanks for doing this video!
When you're done with the GoT houses you should do the Red Panda. The cuteness will explode your brain.
I watched every one of your videos in one go. you are adorable and entertaining. Keep it up.
You really have to give scientists and marine biologists credit for their bravery: "Sure, at the bottom, the ocean is pitch black and full of terrifyingly giant creatures who have struck fear into the hearts of sailors and inspired art and literature for centuries, but we're gonna go explore it anyway."
Platypus. Now that would be a long episode!
I think you would like to talk about marsupials' determination next. :D
From what I have understood it isn't the giant squid that the Kraken is based on, it's the Colossal squid.
This video was really funny. I guess you can say it was kraken me up.
Giant squid: *exists* Japan: *I'm about to end this mans whole career*
I’m so glad humans can’t really go that deep. Imagine just chilling down there in that abyss when you see a massive tentacle twice as long as you’re sub
She has improved a lot in her speech
Actually, the squid has another rigid part of its body, the pen, which is a vestigial remnants of the shells that prehistoric cephalopods had, which today only the Nautilus retains
Love it even if i dont see game of thrones this is still animal facts.
U can tell she's really into game of thrones lol ! And i love it valamor goules my friend good videos u post thx yo !n
Oh just great, a day late! I was out swimming yesterday and a giant squid showed up and gave me a hand shake.
it is rare that I pressed LIKE before watching it, but it's KRAKEN!!! (which I am kinda obsessed with since I was in jr high school) (that said I've never seen GoT lol)
Dragons :P
i've ever read a book when i was a kid. It was about "embu" or "sea-ghost", a squid-like creature which can change its size. The myth about Embu came from Sulawesi island. A mother could bear a twin, but instead a human and a human, the twin could be a human and a crocodile or a squid. Well, it's just a myth,,,
Nice! You need more subs
I don't get why GoT would be referenced so heavily when the pirates of the Caribbean films have the most memorable Kraken scenes ever
You know... I've been thinking, how would a giant/colossul squid do to a modern military ship?

@@blainegoodwin6365 Exactly.
There is an exhibit in Te Papa on the colossal squid. They have the body of a female caught by a fishing ship preserved in a large tank. I'm also fairly sure that not even the body of a male colossal has been seen before. Not only do they a specimen of the largest squid species but they also have a skeleton of a 25m long Pygmy blue whale suspended from the roof.
