As doctor passionate about skin care that delivers results and about well aging, I want to help you quickly and efficiently pick a skin care regime that works, by explaining the science behind skin and by sharing quick product reviews.
I am a big believer that creating a skincare routine that targets your specific concerns is not a matter of your budget. There are many great affordable brands out there: The Inkey List, Good Molecules, Geek & Gorgeous or pixi skincare to name a few of my favorites, and if you know how to combine them, you are well on your way to healthy and happy skin.
Healthy and happy skin does not mean "flawless" - whatever that might be. I have been struggling with acne, hyperpigmentation and postinflammatory erythema (PIH and PIE) for most of my adult life, and it took me a while to figure out that gentle is key. I went through a retinol damaged skin barrier, acne flare ups and sun damage until I finally reached my happy place: With Tretinoin, sunscreen and of course a red lipstick!

Thank you Dr Anne. I also found it a bit sticky but personally didn't mind it a lot as a night treatment before night cream. I did find however that if I used it on itself without a cream after it would leave a bit of a residu on my skin that would flake off a few hours later, definetly gives that film-like feeling. Your skin looks radiant btw!

I don't really use serums like that without anything top, which is why I wasn't really bothered by it either.

Thank you. I was recently fortunate enough to receive the ordinary Amino acids + B5 serum as a gift. I can’t believe how wonderful it is. It’s made my skin feel more hydrated than it has in such a long time. I always feel like the moisturiser can’t hydrate my skin enough, and this has really been wonderful & soothing ( or something!?) too. I wonder how it compares to this serum . Have you tried the amino acid + B5?

@@AndriBp-wx6of I can't tell you if a product will work on your eyes by looking at the ingredients. At best I can say that nothing is in it that is known harmful, but that I can say even without looking at the ingredients as it is an eye cream. What works on your eyes is individual to you, but given that it is an eye cream it is safe to assume that it can be used as described.
