Yep, this isn’t playing games on Mac hardware, this is streaming games to Mac hardware. Any game can be streamed to Mac hardware, I don’t understand why Andrew is making a video about this other than for clicks.

This isn’t really Mac gaming though is it? It’s just streaming service which you can do from any device. Nothing against Andrew at all but saying it’s Mac gaming is misleading and more referral bait

Sorry but if you’re using a cloud service you’re not really playing the game “on a Mac”

It is not always not always ones own connection that is the problem. Not always its a big misconception in terms of cloud game streaming. Sometimes it is from the server data center end the problem is. Like if its overloaded with too many people on at the same time. i played during different periods where it is alot smooth very minimal buffer lag latency. Other times full of it. Even with geforce now i experienced the same sometimes its very fluid very smooth experience even on lower bandwidth connections like 50-100mbps on my 5g phone tethering to my old laptop vs 500-1000 speed fixed broadband Its not always the matter about the bandwidth more about how low the actual latency is

I hate cloud streaming from gaming.

The video title is definitely the reason for the huge dislike ratio on this video. As a side note, I. would recommend Shadow tech over Boosteroid anytime. 30% more expensive but you get a full Windows 10 machine where you can install ANY game, mod, maps etc. Latency is even better than Boosteroid.

Not every game some games from the producers developers wont allow their games to be installed on rental cloud pcs like valorant for example

@@AzadC there are like 3 games out of 250,000 PC games that you can't play because the developers blocked virtual remote desktop connections as part of their anti cheating system. Such intrusive games should be avoided anyway.

This is why I have a real gaming pc in the living room and steam streaming. Using steam because the saves follow me everywhere

I'm hoping now that arm is coming to windows, it forces more developers to make AVX optional, not all of these are blocked due to avx but it's one barrier that's now gonna be a barrier with new windows hardware coming out based on snapdragon X and that's gonna force developers to adjust. I think from this list only forbidden west is AVX locked, rest are DRM/anticheat

Welcome to the cloud gaming club fellow brother!. Think it as a pro vs buying a expensive gaming pc is like buying vs renting a house place to live. Yeah once your bought the house it is always yours but if you find out you no longer want to live in that town you have the issue with selling it. Vs renting a flat apartment is kinda easier if you know the comparison between those two? Coming speaking as someone like myself who throwed alot of money out of the window on pc parts like graphics cards expensive ones

Ok what>?!??!?!??!? Im so excited that it's possible to play RDR2 without Ryujinx now on Mac!!! I just have one question... does the amount of ram you have change the performance, or just internet connection? I have 8 GB of ram on my Base M1 Macbook Air and 16 GB of ram on my M1 Mac Mini. Will there be any difference between the two? And will it take up storage too?

Its kinda different from periode to periode sometimes the app version is better than the browser one other times the oppesite coming from someone like me who has used it on and off this service platform. But im a windows user

when do you think will more AAA games come to mac or Steam for Mac? looking at M4 chip, its pretty powerful. I am a casual gamer, but I like games and play sometimes but waiting for Mac to become an everything machine which is almost there and the only thing missing is Gaming

Nothing AAA is on the horizon for Mac at the moment, next game is Mirage which is mobile only.

Why do you have latency issues? On that i agree geforce now is better its like netflix vs hbo in terms of libary selection

Boosteroid still only available to a handful of countries. And I'm not in one of them.

Shadow PC is king. Best performance for cloud gaming on MAC. Period.

@@esesrox86 The reason I don’t like GeForce now is features. With Shadow you get an actual pc which is compatible with all cheat detect software. You can transfer files and use all your accessories. You can use multiple monitors. Works with every game with no lines or time limits. When using Geforece now, you can not use steam arguments in properties. You also can’t use game addons like the camera mod for Baldur’s Gate 3 or ARC DPS and BLISH HUD in Guild wars. GeForce now has a small library of games I actually play. Games it doesn’t include PSO2 NG, FFXIV, FFVII (Both), RE, WOW, etc. Shadow PC has better versatility and I feel it is worth the price if you’re trying to play on Mac.

@@dellenrules I think GFN's biggest problem is the library. I agree with this. As for the mod issue, I think it's a problem related only to some games, for example if you want to RP on GTA or play Skyrim with the latest graphics mods. On shadow I don't know what type of video compression they use and then to play at the maximum settings you have to spend €50 a month, too much!

@@esesrox86 I recommend trying out Shadow’s $20 tier to see what i mean. Their higher tier I use cost $40 and it is worth it. I can play all my games on all my devices with internet. It even allows the scaling down of the stream for slower internet speeds.
