The idea behind the expression “smart money” is that there are large well-informed traders in the market who can control or nudge price in specific points. As a result, retail traders can easily be manipulated. The awareness of how the so-called smart money acts is, therefore, essential to survival in the markets according to the enthusiasts of this idea. The Wyckoff method is a trading methodology developed by Richard Wyckoff, who became a Wall Street superstar after obtaining a great success by observing the actions and footprints of large traders in the chart and tape. The Wyckoff method is based on ideas like supply and demand, cause and effect, effort and result, and a detail explanation of how a rising market reverses into a falling market and vice versa. There is a lot that goes on in the transition between trending markets. The Wyckoff method is a more flexible trading approach in comparison to the Elliott Wave theory, and it can be considered some sort of evolution of the Dow theory since it relies on the ideas of accumulation, distribution, and volume analysis in order to understand the market. Thanks for the clear explanation! It reminds me of volume spread analysis. A narrow candle near resistance that has high volume is a reversal sign. A wide candle with low volume is also a reversal sign, but for whole other reasons.
Just saw this technique and luckly I got to try it on live market on the same day of the video was released and applied on a 1hr TF on US30 making lower low with a wick and closing above the previous lower low. High accuracy still holding the trade in profit for the weekend, more than +350 pips🔥🎯

Thank you for sharing. I would love to be convinced by the concept if there was enough real statistics over at least 1000 trades showing that the model or assumption has a probability edge. In fact, better still show this model doing live trading on a sim account.

Method of trading what you learn on this courses is not a fixed setup like many others, it is something when you get it, you know to read any price action. It is a way of thinking and you not need many indicators and sim accounts and different patterns. You just simply know what is going on and you can trade that.

Thank you for your video. I watched your Wyckoff video and it was great. I think Wyckoff method allows us to also better underestand the intention of big players during accumulation and distribution. Hence, we can know with more confidence what would probably unfold in high liquidity areas. So I still think Wyckoff method provides a valuable framework when combined with VSA and price action.

Thank you for this comment. What you wrote is the same direction I am thinking: combining support & resistance along with VSA to try and predict whether a liquidity grab is about to happen.

Wouldn't it look just like that (8:25) if there was too much supply to absorb at that moment, and the sellers would need more time to drag the price down?

Can we use this for crypto market
There is something I don't understand in the example of 4.37 min into the video. For the smart money to move price to trigger the buy orders of retail, wouldn't they have to also buy the market to move the market to the upside? I would think to move the price higher they have to buy the asset? Why would they buy the market only to short the market??. I'm confused and I never quite understood how they accomplish a liquidity grab? Can you please explain???
