OK sooooo...... how do you recommend we use bollinger bands then? lol I feel like this video doesnt give actionable information to make money

Research at MIT by David Elliot showed that Markets are outside the NOISE RANGE when Bollinger bands are 0.8 SD & are 10 periods & price is trading outside the trending BB--no matter what the time frame( 5M,15M,1H,4h,Daily---etc.). Please explore this further & do A video to take this work to A higher level.Thank you Sir.

That's a great bunch of information. The extreme opposite are the MOBO bands, .737 deviation. Typically rounded to .8. In some of that range bound price, I like to use a regression channel or even do an Andrews Pitchfork and drag anchor "A" to a point in space where the pitchfork has the best resolution. What about the %B indicator? Would this help anymore percentage wise on possibly determining Which way price action may go. I know there is no real way of telling this but when up the percentage better than Bollinger bands wood on their own??

Sir, 10 period Bollinger band one SD in any time frame captures trend.Lot of work on this came out of MIT. If 1H & 4H trend is up one can safely enter on 15 minute chart,when 15 minute correction is over.Any suggestions? Traders biggest enemy is trend flipping on A dime(e.g. 1H/lower time frame trend).Trend on 4H chart is the best trend guide for majority of forex traders( if one keeps trades for 2-5 days). By the time trader realizes that trend on daily chart is up, market has already gone up about 3-5 days & if you ask supercomputer for the mathematical odds, computer tells you that odds are negative right from the start.Trend based on the last 5-10,four hourly candles has enough players/juice behind it so that it would not flip on A dime, so trader has decent chance to make something without buying overpriced asset. We seek your wisdom?

The only way to raise your percent with bb buy from center ch and use a cci se at 5 an when it crosses above 50 on cci buy an sell at the top. I use combo renko Heiden ash I. 85 percent wins

Well, it's not as good as it seems to be. Sorry to disappoint. I'm a little bit reluctant to share this kind of thing because people overestimate the power of these simpler techniques, and they tend to forget about the rest that is necessary to make a strategy work. With that said, I'm thinking of ways to build a strategy using these techniques. Not easy, but I'll try. I just have to finish the institutional trading books first.
