The Only Chess Player Respected By Stockfish 🧠

Ойын-сауық

In this video, I talk about the life of one of the greatest chess players of all time and analyze one of his games!
Mikhail Tal was one of the best chess players in the history of the game. He became the world champion at the age of 23 and could not stand a game where he didn't sacrifice any piece!
He played chess even when he was supposed to be in the hospital just a month before his death. "Even though he might not have been the best, he was the favourite!"

It is a very brief account of his life and career as a chess player which is ok, if that is what you intended, but I feel it would have been nice to have shown that game against Kasparov, and maybe a special game from his early years as a junior in the beginning of the video.

Nice inspirational video, here some more chess facts you may find interesting: In the Candidates in 1959 Tal didn’t play Fischer in the last round, but the second to last one. "1959 was the first time Tal met many great chess players” -not really. Tal had played in ussr chess championship back in 1956, and those were harsh. Many times current or ex world champions didn’t win it and WC contendors were left behind. Also, Tal played in the interzonal tournament, where he faced the future qualifiers. So, if I’m not wrong, Tal played in USSR chess in 1956, 1957, 1958, Interzonal 1958, USSR 1959 and the Candidates in 1959, which makes the Candidates the 6th elite chess tournament he played in.
