The best player in the world, by far, if you compare him against the competition he faced. Head and shoulders above everyone else.

beautiful games thank you, its amazing Paul gave his opponents a piece and wins , to me it speaks of his mastery of the board, of course this was before internet and online games , i wonder if " masters " still play a piece down in starting in 2024

Fue el mejor porque era el mejor o por la baja calidad de competidores? Me queda esa duda. Que habria hecho contra Bobby Magnus Nakamura Kasparov Capablanca?

It's amazing that Morphy had only a limited number of chess books to study from (if he did at all) but yet develop chess theory himself. He was just 12 in this game, and would sacifice pieces to checkmate. Most players do not want to sacifice a piece, but his extraordinary calculating and creative play makes his games very excting to study. He was the best of all time.

Tal and Nezhmetdinov are by far the best players ever played that game. Tal probably bit better as he played much more “crazy” games as Rashid, but in direct comparison, Rashid won more often. Crazy games… worth seing it. Enjoy!
