@@gossipmaggictvI an Igala man and a Christian - and I can tell you this: the proofs of some of these things are there. My father witnessed some of these things. There used to be a photo of this king at the African Information Centre in London labeled 'The African King Who Snubbed The Queen.' This display of mystical powers and sorcery is still in our land; some of us know those graves; I do not support sorcery - it is evil, but that's the only thing the king knew to do against the British rape of his throne, kingdom, pride and honour. You may want to take a tour of Igalaland and attempt to verify these claims and not to sit at a distance and just discredit and tag all as falsehood.

The suffering and hardship inflicted on our people will now pass on to her generations. They will know no peace. Our brothers who were participants in these atrocities will answer for their crimes and sins and so too their generations. The beast have gone to roost.

Thank you for sharing this here. I remember, hearing this story as a child growing up. When i went to the village, i got to learn more about the curses that was made against the Northerner's who conspired against the Attah of Igala in other to make him submissive to the Queen of England. The Attah of Igala, and the Oba, of Benin who had become close refused to submit or bow to the English Queen at that time. The Attah, of Igala after being blackmailed by his enemies working with the Fulani Northerner's and the British, decided it's best he take his own life and keep the Kingship in his lineage. Than allow his enemies dethrone him and his lineage will never hold onto the throne. The exact Fulani King or Emir at that time who was dedicated to remove the Attah of Igala then was the grandfather of Sanusi Lamido who was dethroned recently as Emir of Kano. Same way his own grandfather, was dethroned as Emir from the throne. And all, the diseases and sicknesses the Attah cursed them with is still very much working against them. The Fulani, or core Northerner's were the British eyes and ears at that time. They helped the British, in destroying great empires and blackmailing Kings and Queens, killing them or sending them into exile. And that is because like the British they were also invaders trying to conquer empires. So, they decided to work with the British. Not, all of them but most of them have same mindset! And this is why they try to suppress true history from the public. Thank you "Attah Ameh Oboni" for refusing to bow to the oppressors. You are indeed a true African King. We are proud of your bravery. And true, Igala will be united from all the places they reside. Some, of them now call themselves different names. But, when the unity begins they will see themselves as one.

This reminds me of my grandpa who refused to sing God bless the queen insisting on singing God bless the king instead because it was a taboo then in our culture to put a woman before a man. He couldn't get it how a queen was more powerful than the king. For that, he was expelled from the colonial school but because he was one of their best student if not the most excellent, they had to persuade him to come back to school. His response, your guess is as good as mine - I will only come back if l will not force me to sing that song. He eventually got his exemption. Glad to have been named after my grandpa.

Hail King Oboni We must demand that the false name of our continent is replaced with one of its rightful names, Alkebu Lan. We praise King Oboni for his amazing contributions and for upholding our traditions with such integrity, bravery and pride. He was a powerful well gifted man. We should all be so proud of him. His soul lives on. May his soul rest in perfect peace and power. We praise him beyond the grave. We thank him for his service to his nation. He is an ancestor of whom we are truly proud and worthy of praise. Too many of our leaders continue to play with all aspects of our health, education and holistic wellbeing. Very few have shown any regard for the responsibilities that come with the positions they hold. They continue to perpetuate colonisation with their petty colonised mentality, petty mindedness, theiving and lack of self love. Too many of our countries are poor when they should not be. We in Alkebulan do not need development based on the western model of development. Very important is the rightful name of our continent which so many don't question and it is a total blight to us. It is a fake name, false to the core and useless to us and our ancestors. They turn in their graves at the blindness our many so called petty theiving leaders continue to show as they continue to sell us out and rip us off. Most of us should be receiving therapy for the suffering we have endured due to failed independence, colonisation, enslavement of our people, the lack of reparation and the continued abuse we suffer at home and worldwide. Who are there to safeguard us? The murders, kidnapping and raping of our people and our resources continues by others and even our own. We are so lost and oblivious of our true stories. We need to wake up and do all we can individually and collectively to help each other to achieve better leaders. This is in order to take full control of our continent's future. Lets gain knowledge of who we truly are, get rid of that blighted name forced on our continent, receive therapy for the psychological harm we continue to suffer and restore the name of our continent Alkebu Lan for the betterment of our future generations. Thank you for reading. Sukurah

I'm African too No one is asking you to bow to the Queen. Choosing to pay respects to the queen or not is not what matters. What matters is how are you as an African King Developing Africa to benefit our people. Why should you be bragging about not bowing to the queen? My question for all African leaders is....When are you all going to develop our continent to become better than anywhere in North America, Europe and Asia? When are you all going to transform Africa into an industrialized first world continent? In the first place if we were developed and organized, no one will colonize us. Bragging about not bowing to the queen when you all havent accomplished anything to benefit African citizens is completely futile. Rather it's shameful!

@Joe plus ①②①⑨②⑦①②①⓪⑧ my brother, you are right but the problem lies in the people not realizing the enormous power in their unity which is more than any leader can withstand but the people don't know and the leaders of this region are exploiting that for their selfish gain, we are seriously marginalized in this region but the leaders don't care because they get what they wanted. Is only the people themselves that can change the situation, I don't expect any government to change the situation any soon due to selfishness and fear and the people has no unity due to different opinions, ethnicity, religion and tribalism. So the issues in the middle belt region of Nigeria is going to be likely a continuity. Look at the worst government ever in Nigeria even worst than the military regime in terms of economic, security, infrastructure, education etc and yet some humans are still praising this government that has no regard at all for this region and many other regions e.g south east. Well we Wait for 2023 for Nigerians to still sell their peace and security. Thanks

The couples ( the queen and Prince Philip) bowed to Emperor HaileSelasie and his wife, Empress Menen Asfaw. This was what the Ethiopian Monarchy had been; no wonder Emperor HaileSelasie was from the house of David, the Solomonic dynasty.

To be fair, most Kings & Queens do not bow to other Kings & Queens from foreign countries because they’re considered equal. Only lower court royals bow to Kings & Queens, like Princess/Prince, Lord/Lady. etc.

Sukurah
Ameh OBONI I admired his signed and wonder's Generosity and selfless service to Igala Kingdom. As a teenager I had about his miraculous how he command EGANE river to be divide with world of mouth till today vehicles and human movement are there like physical made bridge
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR GOOD UPDATE. GOOD LUCK.
He is the former king in my Kingdom ..He is an authority in Igala land up till today
Kings and Queens do not bow to each other. They are in the same Level.
Kudos to you my sister, keep the good work, the true history of the Attah of Igala and many More.

Thanks

Every king or Queen have their own ego, but let say some of local King 👑 know their worth, and i respect them for that, I must say with the experience and knowledge that I have gathered about African and foreign people, are self underrated lack of love 😍 because of money, power and high position brother sell each other out to foreign people, it happen then and is still happening now,, the question is when are we going to stop putting blame on foreign people?,,
