The Omziscool Finale | Ft. Seawattgaming | Debunking Minecraft's Escape Room Problem
Ойындар
After 30 hours of editing, its finally here. In this video I try my best to break down, and figure out exactly what has caused the escape room trend to become so bland. This is my 3rd and final video on Omziscool, one of the most popular former escape room channels.
Thank you so much to @seawattgaming for featuring!

It's for the same reason those guys do it too, other people having ridiculously low attention spans, so they have to keep talking non-stop at full blast to keep the attention of their audience. Meanwhile people who aren't paranoid about attention deficit kids not watch their videos are fine having a better flow and non-talking segments. Sad world where even 6 second videos have "WATCH TILL THE END!!" in the title.

Thats actually a problem i personally have with a lot of (not all thankfully) current Minecraft KZreadrs. They just narrate is past-tense instead of live gameplay commentary. Makes it way less engaging imo
9:37 If you remember, Omz’s friend “coded it” so that if you touch/break tnt, it explodes. With that logic, there is literally no reason to make a flint or steel since you can literally just use your hands to break it, position yourself, then fly to the other side.
@kingacrisius
10 ай бұрын
Little known fact, there is actually a type of tnt that ignites when broken that you can obtain via commands. So as dumb as the tnt jump was, you couldn't just break the tnt to do the jump.

I came on kenadians channel for escape rooms bc I wanted to make a simple one for a friend, I left with much more then some mechanics. Thank you for that
Honestly, these escape rooms can be made with multiple routes depending on how you use items. For example, If you're able to cleverly manage items in one room, using them in the next could be a skip to the puzzle or even a tougher route. Perhaps at the end, you got a "conservationalist" scoring based on how many of the resources provided you used and how many you saved, along with a "Map" of what route you took. That way, more intuitive players are 'rewarded' for using their knowledge of the game while there are more solutions for those who can't figure out the puzzle

The ting is, Omz uses hoppers as a way to store hidden items to help him during the escape. He could have used any form of storage: a chest, a dispenser, a minecart chest; whatever, but he always uses a hopper for some reason.

It's actually cool to see Seawatt's perspective on this, he just was showing off mechanics and stringing them together with a theme, but copycats missed that and copied the theme without realizing it was just a device for a flow and not the point of the video.. honestly now that I see it's more just "mechanic showcase" instead of "escape the room" it does make sense when Omz or others don't take anything that isn't bolted down lol .. they legit aren't trying to actually escape

Awesome video! I really enjoyed the "The Part Where He Kills You" skit and the debunk.
I like the portal 2 themes playing in the background during the escape
My favourite part has to be the constant Portal and Portal 2 music in the background. Really sells this whole thing.

I like how seawatt was first one of his enemies to one of this friends
The ending was honestly terrifying... And also amazingly made. Also I like how you featured Mr. Turtle in this video. The one who started it all...
