If you can, tell the developer of that software to make full use of the screen space on a tablet. Show all values on one page instead of having you scroll through multiple pages. Alternatively, they could show multiple circuits on the same page. :)

I believe its like that because it can be used on a phone also and having 1 standard UI just makes it cheaper to maintain

Your videos help me grow as tech every time I watch. You inspire me to look at everything . I love the big picture thought process. Keep up the good work man.
Dont know how many people know....but manufacturers have charts for choosing the right motor for high static situations. If you follow the charts...it'll show a standard motor at xx horsepower.....for high static...you have to upsize the motor HP and change the sheaves. Just a little tip....in case you run into it....and the customer doesn't want to replace the ductwork.
Perfect, after midnight in New Zealand, just what I need 😅

Expertise with a touch of humility. Nice combo!
Love the A/C videos!! Even though I am not in the trade (completely opposite actually) I still find your videos interesting!
Just an FYI. On those York units the lights next to the flashing light also show the error number. Each light has a small number by it. Adding those numbers gives you the error code. So if you have a 1 and 3 light then it's error code 4. You also had a 3 light up by itself so that is a 3. Just another way to confirm you have the correct code.
You go above and beyond, great job chris!!
Great job Chris
That's a neat trick with the Micro-channel using the leaf blower
I had a similar situation where a pressure switch was opening after like 30seconds of run time after replacing a failed condenser fan motor with a new one. However I probed up and realized that the previous company that had worked on it actually put in the wrong refrigerant of R410a in a R22 system. After recovering the 410a and putting 22 back in the pressure switch worked as it should. Now I just always probe up if I haven’t worked on the equipment already
Gotta love those York Predators! Real money makers for HVAC techs.
5:06 Replace set screws with stainless and dab the top with silicone gasket sealer if no cap. Never a prob removing.
Hey Bruh, Im not a HVAC guy but work with electrical and electronics. Love your channel great checking out your day to day. And learning heaps from you along the way. Thanks Cheers from Australia
Excellent Job as Always. Very Methodical. 👍🙏

Nice man. New follower and I appreciate your content and consistency.
As always great work 👍😎
I changed that exact high pressure switch, circuit #1, on an identical York unit two days ago. I was weary about the schrader core too. Fortunately, there was one on the unit I worked on.
Nice work as usual Chris.
Nice oldie but goodie Thx

Could you please please make a video about thought process while on a service call?
i appreciate learning your troubleshooting processes. i adapt them to my job even though i don't particularly work on the roof units at my job. it still help to understand situations when our units go down. most times its due to poor design and constant adjusting/overrides of the JC Metasys system. working in casino/hotel maintenance i see all kinds of issues. troubleshooting processes work the same no matter the issue.
Great video. I caught that the 2nd stage was still off on HP . I had one of those charging cylinders back in the 70's. I think it has really 12 ,22 and 502 on it. Wish I still had mine now that I'm retired
We have a york chiller where I work that is CONSTANTLY needing new condenser fan motors and temp sensors. It's been there for about 6 years now, and all 8 fan motors have been replaced atleast 3 times. Also, both inverters have been replaced and have one on its 2nd replacement. The company that services it says bad power from the city...

I was in the field for 10 years, and I never figured out those York boards. Between those, heat exchanger installation, positioning of the blower wiring, and their damn TXV being in front of the filter door, I never really liked York RTUs. Give me a Lennox, Carrier Weathermaker, or even Trane Voyager any day of the week.
I don’t even bother with saving the fan blade assembly - especially if the motor is locked up. I change out the blade assembly with the motor given that there could be an imbalance that eats up the motor bearings.
Nice job 👍🙌😊👌🍺🍀
Would be helpful to recommend to customer to have someone sweep/remove the solid matter everywhere on the roof

I will add that that 1/2" CSST flex gas connector is crazy undersized and probably sounds like an elk bugle when those units are in high fire. Should either hard pipe or increase to a 3/4"
As the saying goes with whether or not to do P.M: Pay now or later...
The same thing happened to me. I quoted a high price, and the other company installed trane unit made in china
Whenever I see that System Vitals app I kinda cringe, so much space on screen and those tiny gauges, could use the rest of the screen so you wouldn't have to scroll, which might also help with the big picture seeing everything at once.
I've always found it weird how they don't have m5 filters over the outdoor coils under some canopy. They'd save so many coils. What's a 5-35pa drop if it saves your equipment. We suggested this recently to a client and they were hesitant over the cost of the them over the g4's but the units are aging at half the rate they were. This is in a whiskey distillery in Ireland and the place is covered in whiskey mould, an extremely harsh environment. 70-100% humidity is normal here.
How much are going to bet you will be out there to fix commisioning problems on the new units.
5:35 people you never touch a capacitor like this, 300 plus Volts is dangerous
If I understand correctly, you stated that the fan motors on this unit fail fairly often and you replaced it with an OEM motor. I saw the Molex plug on the OEM replacement and am assuming that there is no USM Mojave replacement for it?
hold reset and it will
Ya really gotta get one of those chest mount harness for your mobile phone so that you can film video while still having both hands free..
Did you find out if the hp switch was om a shraider?
Is there a particular set of circumstances causing accelerated aging of those OEM motors?
Is that the Measure quick app you are using ?
Man.. I'm going to notice that plastic protector on your voltmeters screen everytime now. You leave those in place?
2:47/5:45 that compressor sounded bad Sounded like it was trying to start but the motor was stuck/lost a phase so it was just buzzing

Micro channel condenser have to be the worse have a few units in the uk that have them and they just block up ridiculously quick no idea why they use them
Why are microchannel condensers used in these areas, where they get clogged up. Is it because we don't know the conditions when we choose equipment.
