Amazing stories about Frank and Sammy and Dean. Incredible behind the scenes politics. Wow!

I find it amazing Sinatra's butler, who wrote a book, never mentioned this period.

They couldn't have picked a better cast. Peter Lawford was such a handsome and debonaire gentleman.

The original Ocean’s Eleven was a very entertaining movie, but at that time, when the Mob ran Las Vegas, the life expectancy of anyone who tried to rob the casinos could be measured in seconds…..if that long.

Skinny D’amato was hardly a ‘mobster’. He was connected certainly, as most successful people in Atlantic City were at the time. He was a business man. Some of his ‘partners’, however, well that’s another story.

Giancana was still an Italian name so it made no sense for him to change it.

49:20 $5.95 in 1960 today, adjusted for inflation... Is around $62. Still... A bargain to see that much talent having that much fun...and dinner to boot! Nowadays... people pay what...few hundred bucks to see lip syncing and bad dancing??? Absolutely terrible music at that. If someone wanted to torture me and learn every secret I have...just make me sit through a Taylor Swift concert. I'll sing like a canary!!!

To be honest, the jokes during their act were not very funny.

These were great performers but Oceans 11 was a terrible film. It does not hold up because it was never any good.

Soderbergh's version has no business being as good as it is considering how flimsy the OG was

It's because Sinatra only allowed one take of every scene. Imagine id William Wyler directed that movie.
