The Object Show Iceberg

Фильм және анимация

This is my first ever video using Sony Vegas Pro therefore I'm still a little rusty hehe. Also it's my first ever iceberg video which, honestly felt like a pretty nice accomplishment even though it's only 11 minutes long :)

"NSFW Ships" so since jellotin donut couldnt explain it for obvious reasons, i decided to because why not? nsfw ships is just rule 34 of two characters from object shows (specifically popular ones) shipped together, thats basically it. good examples of this are from bfb, with a fandom of teens/kids. PLEASE do not search this up, as it could ruin your childhood and could lead to eye bleach. nsfw/rule34 ships are taken as a joke, or seriously, which 1/4 of them being jokes. but really, waste 1 - 3 hours just for rule 34 of objects?

3:02 Correction: Inanimate Insanity was NOT the second object show ever produced. There was this show called Total Fruit Island that started in December of 2010 and was taken offline by 2017. Now, you'll notice that December of 2010 is before April 1, 2011. Total Fruit Island predates Inanimate Insanity. It's kind of silly that Inanimate Insanity was credited this way, considering that the video actually shows that TFI is listed as predating II at 3:18.

If you ever make a sequel to this, you should definitely put Battle for Circle in there. Surprised you didn't bring it up along with ONE, considering that one of the characters from BFC makes a cameo in ONE (they're both made by the same person). It's a super-low-effort satirization of the competition-based object show format, and it executes that idea so well.

I'm gonna share a piece of Object Show trivia that is incredibly obscure that will (probably) never be in an iceberg ever (except for the one I made). It's a Swedish dub of BFDI called "Slaget om Solskensön". If you ever WILL make a part two, then can you include Total Fruit Island?

  • @jello_.

i remember an object show that probably 99.99.9% change you don’t know of, called AOS: aos was an object show where 15 or so objects would battle for a badge or something, i know one of the contestants being fork: a character with night vision goggles, honey bee: a bee swarm simulator PNG that had a major role in the show, and tom’s beans: a can of beans from the famous roblox meme, tom’s beans ended up winning the show, unfortunately the show has been unlisted and the show may never come back

Side Note: In terms of context since 3 years ago, I was looking for a reason why they made the joke "Was Bow alive the whole time", and she is not like Kenny who acts the same and feels the same. So I used TV Tropes as my guide to look for clues right after watching S3E8, and came around the trope called "Came Back Wrong", which could be considered a semi-primary reason why Bow was alive but only to be used as a replacement this whole time. So I guess my comment is a lie.

It’s a shame Adobe Animate is SO expensive considering you need an Adobe subscription… I’ve tried making an object show a few times a few ideas even have storyboard’s for their respective 1st episodes and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get my show ideas off the ground

If you hadn't made it, I wouldn't have found ONE of, if not the best object show out there: hfjONE I had seen the first episode of ONE in my recommended before but never watched it for some reason. By the time I did, episode 13 was the most recent episode. Because of this video, I decided, hey, that sounds interesting! What a cool concept! And now ONE is my favorite YT series. If you haven't watched ONE go do it

The only object show I've seen thus far is ONE. Object shows aren't exactly my cup of tea, but holy crap ONE is amazing! I've already gotten a couple of my friends to watch it and hyperfixate over it alongside me, so yeah. From an outsider looking in, that show was really freaking amazing! Now youtube is recommending stuff like this alongside other object shows, though. Not sure if I'd really be interested in that kind of stuff 'cause I've never really taken an interest in object shows before. I was just drawn in by something that looks like it's for kids, but actually having psychological horror without feeling the need for pointless gore. Like, that's all I knew about it when I went in! Idgaf about gore, but sometimes it's just done for the shock value and that typically just makes me bored. I did a double take at Happy Tree Friends once, but when I realized it didn't get any deeper than that, I kinda just... lost interest. ONE, though, actually made me feel horrified without a single bit of gore in there! That's how you know something's fucking awesome! Without gore, the horror needs to be a lot more unique and therefore ends up being a lot more horrifying when done well! And ONE is an absolute MASTER at that! I may not be too interested in object shows as a whole, but ONE will remain among my favourite shows for a looooooooooong time!
