I wish there was a review that showed this bag emptied and folded up, so i could an idea of how much space it needed in my suitcase.
came back to say i purchased this bag yesterday, i really loved this review, and how Christine showed it in detail and with the pouches etc I already really love this bag, the mesh part inside is sort of like a packing cube, i tested it out rolling some cloths inside and it worked really well. ONETHING i have to say is the straps.... yesterday i carried my laptop, almost 2lr of water and other stuff and it was comfy on my shoulder for hours, BUT omg the straps as a backpack? there isnt much length to the straps, and i can't imagine trying to put it on with a jumper and a winter coat..... it didnt stop me from buying it tho as the bag has so much to offer and i shall try get the straps extended by a friend or tailor.

also if you pull the side strings all the way down tight you could use them to hold a blanket/tripod/ yogamat etc along the bottom of the bag :)

Thanks for all of your detailed insights! 😃 It sounds like you made the right choice. -Eric
Nebraska, I'm taking bets that her accent is from Nebraska. I have this in both black and mauve, and it's kind of nice to just leave the mesh pocket unzipped and have a floating divider too, since it's the entire width of the bag. I also like that you could sort of wear it flipped around backwards and have the backpack straps act as a yoga mat holder too, and the freestanding sturdy base is exquisite.
Omg! This is exactly the review I was looking for. Thank you soo, it's so helpful

Simply an amazing review❤️Do you think it would it fit a 14” laptop though?
are the straps quite sturdy? worried if my laptop will cause the threading of the straps to come undone? btw thank you so much for the review I found it honestly the most helpful out of all videos ive watched :)
Awesome review, thanks for being so detailed! Going to buy this in black :)

Really wanted this bag for travel but it's only for a 13" laptop which is a shame, I have the Galaxy Notebook 2 360 pro so very sad about that. :( But it looks like a great travel bag none the less!
I have this in black/rose gold. I am a die hard NF fan. However, if you are what NF would consider XXL, carrying it as a backpack causes the D rings to dig into your shoulders and neck. The straps just aren't long enough. I've tried using it on shorter hikes with my kids, and it's really uncomfortable. It's great for running errands, or as a carry on. Your mileage may vary ;) Great review!

Very interested in this bag as it might prove to be a versatile travel bag that can lay flat in my backpack when not in use. Unfortunately, that aspect of the bag wasn’t shown here. Also, and I mean this constructively, this video was way too long and slow relative to the amount of useful information given. Christine needs to edit her comments about what could potentially be carried and get more to the meat and potatoes of the features of the bag. Again, love Packhacker, and just mean for this to be constructive.

Is this TSA approved to use as your personal, please? :)
I have this bag. I added a D ring to each side so that I can use the bag in a crossbody manner. I have many North Face bags so have extra straps.
