I've had mine for quite a while now. It is a very good bag. I take it everywhere. I use it a lot for carrying groceries -- a lot of em! The non-padded straps are very thin but strong -- not so comfortable when the bag is heavy. The backstraps are perfect. Overall, it's perfect. Glad I bought it. =D

I just bought this for my flight tomorrow and could not figure out how to get the chest strap to the next notch. I can’t tell you how awesome it is to search a sentence in the first video you watch tells you exactly what you were looking for! Thank you for being so thorough and showing how it’s actually done!

not sure if it helps now, but the chest strap can be unclipped and moved down to the next loop of the daisy chain. certainly a different mechanism from other s which tend to have a "sliding" feature.

I have an older version of this, the front pocket is vertical. and it has compression buckles at the sides. I still like it, but I do use it with a file inside for some structure for use in the city, so it looks less sloppy & slouchy the only drawback is that. the color has run unfortunately. so mine in a similar gray and red colorway is looking too dingy for city use. still a great bag for hiking and overall mucky adventures tho!

Great pack! Ours are older original slightky more square style with compression straps on top of the zippers. And a smaller internal pocket. But super versatile, budget airline personal sized and durable!! Been on trains, ultralight trips, planes and automobiles. Love them

Why does it look dark brown and khaki online and is actually black and khaki as shown here, I’ve got the 22L , lasted a couple of years using mist days until zip broke and worn away and quite a but if general wear overall, it is definitely a comfy bag, the main downfall being the side drink holders being to baggy so drinks falling out if you move much

Would this be a good beach bag? Compress it up to put in your luggage flights. Then pack with towels and food for the beach on holiday?

I’ve definitely used it exactly for this purpose. The only thing to know is that it’s not mesh like a true beach bag so if sand gets in you just have to shake it out. It’s a really versatile bag. The back has a really slight padding to it so sharper things don’t poke you in the back like other packable bags.

Can you carry a 15" laptop in this?

How thick is the material? I ordered this to carry my laptop to work but realized the material might be too thin. I hope not 🙏🏽
