Welcome to Episode 11 of my Let's Play of Pokémon Violet's Indigo Disk DLC! Taking a bit of a detour today to visit our old friends Team Star back at Uva Academy, and doing some other little things, including battling a couple of the "special coaches" we can call to Blueberry Academy! So, as I type this, I've recorded all the rest of the episodes that'll be going up for this Let's Play, and those episodes -- that being 12, 13, and 14 -- will go up sometime later this week after I actually edit them. Like I said, I didn't wanna do ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING on-screen, but I believe I did everything that was truly significant and worth showing. So, be on the lookout for the last few episodes of the Indigo Disk series later this week. And yes, I WILL be LP'ing the "Epilogue" story that's meant to come out sometime in January! I actually answered Ortega's question incorrectly, because I didn't think the question thoroughly enough, so I got Wise Glasses instead of a Gold Bottle Cap. There are a bunch of interesting interactions between all the coaches. Excluding those, you need to talk with them three times in order to see everything any individual coach has to say. And I, unfortunately, had to call every coach in at least four times, because I neglected to battle them on any previous visits, forcing me to spend a whole bunch of extra BP. I really recommend you see what Iono and Grusha talk with each other when they're together. Oh, and happy New Year!

Indigo Disk Episode 11 comments: - I knew that was Eri right away because of her build; Mela was the only other girl among the Team Star bosses, and she wasn't nearly that big or tall. So either the blond hair was a wig, or Eri dyed her hair back to what I can only assume was her natural black (which some Japanese schools actually require students to do). - I feel Giacomo's struggle; I also always had good grades in school, but I wasn't always good at helping other kids out because things that seemed straightforward to me weren't that way for them. - I'm really good at math, so you and I could make a good tutoring team, Daniel. I just need to brush up on calculus again if we're going to help the upperclassmen; I haven't touched that stuff since senior year of high school. I don't know whether this problem is nationwide or exclusive to my part of the country, but high school math classes should focus less on calculus and more on statistics. Calculus is only useful if you want to be an engineer or something; statistics is way more applicable to the real world. A good understanding of how statistics actually work can help you recognize when someone (namely a salesperson, politician, or pseudo-scientist) is trying to bullshit you. - Atticus is such an artsy pretty boy with no sense of how to manage money, just like Yusuke in Persona 5 (the one I said has a lot in common with you). Between that and the whole pink ninja thinking reminding me of Espio the Chameleon, he should totally be voiced by Matt Mercer. - Ha ha, I knew Penny was going to find out somehow! I love her so much. - QOTD: The summer before I started law school, I worked as a cashier at a Lowe's hardware store, and it was the most boring job I've ever had in my life. At least 90% of it consisted of standing around and doing nothing, since busy shopping days were pretty rare there, but we always had to look like we were working, so we couldn't sit down or keep anything at our registers to amuse ourselves with. Not to mention the schedule was very inconsistent, which made it nearly impossible to plan anything outside of my work life. My only reprieves were when they would send me to the back to restock the drink fridges or when they had me work the registers in the gardening section; it wasn't air conditioned and I couldn't hear the music from inside, but it was way less supervised, so I could sneak a book or a snack or my phone into my work space (plus I got to be surrounded by flowers).

Are you still sure you're not gonna try either Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin or Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince? I mean, they're like next-gen of Pokemon Clones to me
