Welcome to Episode 12 of my playthrough of the "Indigo Disk" DLC for Pokémon Violet! In this episode, we're starting things off with something a little special -- evolving a Shiny Duraludon that I found in between episodes from one of the special event outbreaks currently happening in Scarlet and Violet! Since I need Archaludon for the Blueberry Dex anyway, and also I don't know what Shiny Archaludon looks like, I thought getting my reaction to this Steel/Dragon-type Pokémon's Shiny on-screen would be a neat way to kick off the episode.
And speaking of Dragon-types, there's a bit of a loose end to take care of in this episode, too -- as I mentioned back during Episode 8, my original footage of me taking on Drayton just got completely messed up and unusable, so, just like during the main game playthrough when I did the same thing with Geeta, it's time to have a rematch with Drayton to make sure I get at least one battle with him and his Dragon-type team on-screen in this LP! But just because I beat him once doesn't mean this habitual slacker is just gonna roll over and let me get the double, especially since his team is stronger now than when we first met.
Can I prove my first win against Drayton wasn't a fluke and get the W on-screen? Will Drayton put in the effort to overcome my main character plot armor? Will CinnamonRoll ever get to stay alive after hitting a Nuzzle? FIND OUT TODAY!!

Hey there, everyone, and welcome to Episode 12 of my Let's Play of Pokémon Violet's Indigo Disk DLC! We're checking out the evolution of a Shiny 'Mon I found off-screen, and FINALLY getting in a battle with Drayton on-screen whose footage WASN'T corrupted by my capture software having a fit! Sorry for the slight delay in getting this out, but I wanted to make sure I had 12 and 13 edited and ready to go before I published it, just to give myself a bit more breathing room. That said, I still need to edit 14, which will be the final episode of the LP, but that shouldn't be too much to ask, so I should be able to post 13 tomorrow and 14 on Friday to wrap this series up. And as I've mentioned before, I'll also do a playthrough on this channel of the one last little bit of DLC we're apparently getting later this month, so be on the lookout for that as well! Indigo Disk Episode 12 comments: - It's nice that we get to see you battle Drayton in this play-through after all. I was curious about what Pokemon he has on his team, and I couldn't be bothered to look it up. I had a feeling he had the new Archaludon, though; that's usually how this works. - QOTD: My first instinct is to say "every Shiny that looks too much like the original," but there are too many of those and I wouldn't know where to start. So instead I'll go with shiny Sneasel and Weavile. Yellow and pink are a nice combo, but they don't suit a Dark/Ice type Pokemon. If I were in charge, I would call back to Sneasel's appearance in the Gen 2 games and make the shiny forms brown with blue accents. I know this is a cold take (see what I did there?) but it's one I feel very strongly about.
