Self taught and needing all the help I can get. Thanks for the tip on the nock location and the importance of the gap.
So much easier than using serving string!! Thank you guys!!
Thanks Tbone for this one! Turns out the shop that set mine up must have not had his coffee! Used this to DIY it and it shoots perfect! Got a stand for you anytime you wanna hunt!
Well that was a pretty good video. Well recorded, good closeups, and a good narration.
Excellent video, clear and concise instructions guys....super tips! I'll be doing this shortly.
Do your centershot the exact same way as you did the tiller. Nock an arrow and take another arrow and run it back and forth on the riser window. If it’s not square off the get go, that’s a quick way to get it dead square.
You the besttttt TBone... this is a great tip.....All other videos no good.... my archery store sucks ....the dloop is quarter inch to high which made me bottom out on my sight .....and I need to correct this...
Great video and explanations. Thanks !
Thanks for making this video you guys! This really helped me out I was looking for a good instructional video on this topic and I think you guys did a good job explaining and demonstrating. I have a question though. What could be the issue/s or what do you need to do if your bow bottom tiller is shorter than the top tiller? I think both limb bolts are tightened equally and the timing looks good.
I like your videos Thanks for the precise instructions.
great educational movies for beginners! Thank you!
I'm totally going to try this. Very good video.
Some great advice guys, thanks
You set the bottom nock point 1/16 of an inch lower than the arrows nock so when you draw the string not to push the arrow up, right? Isn't that true for the upper nock point too? It wont mess with the arrows angle on the rest? Im not into archery but i want to learn a few things and get into it but i dont really get this nocking points set up.
Great video Travis. Very informative
great presentation thanks..
Can I do the soft knocks with serving thread?
Thank you, gents.
I like to use the brass clamp type deals. All you have to do is crimp them and you can remove them if you want
Hey t bone im here in 2023 lol and i would like to ask you wat u think about wrapping and tying on a lil bit of sewing thread for that just wrapping and under tying cant really explain it anyway else..😂
Very interesting video. I'd like to try it but there's no small amount of 130# braided dacron. $20 min. There's 2 thicknesses I've found, .040" & .095". A big difference. Would be nice if you would give us the dia you use as well as brand. Thanks!!
thanks that heped alot with my bow
That was impressive
Ol t bone nice very helpful vid keep coming
Oh dang 2016 🤗
But if I position the rest too close to the hand will the fletching not hit the bow itself? Have you ever had that issue?
You make it so much easier for me to learn more, I really appreciate you guys! Thank You!

This is wrong bruh you never center off a cam lmao 😂 most cams are offset btw to one side of a limb don't listen to this guy he didn't even use a level or t bar to do this also never burn string your supposed to melt it by pulling the flame back an forth over it burning it weakens the strands do yall actually run a shop? Omg this was by far the most dyi rig a jig bow video I've seen
good stuff
What is the stuff u use for tying the soft nicks thank u

130 pound test Dacron Braided Fishing Line.
Pitts is informative.
You're not telling me how high should I set my rest yours looks to be 2" above the rest is where your arrow will rest
Same story. A bit of downward pressure on the arrow will be better than your so called pinching of the the knock. It's a myth. 1/16" of an inch under center knocking point. With a 3/32 reverse tiller will give you just enough downward pressure on the rest. Too keep those arrows doing the same thing every time. " riseing smoothly , gaining yardage, and hitting the bull. TODDY boys the name. And archery was the game.🤓🤓🤓🤓

If you shoot a slite reverse tiller that takes the pressure of the d loop. Your angle of a reverse tiller draw, goes upwards. Meaning for top limb should be closer to the string than your bottom. Hence, a reverse tiller. Working with the 1/16 under center knocking point. WA la. Very little knock pinch.
Pitts voice hurts my ears.
lol , not for me
Pitts is a aggravating dude to listen to...

Tony Lane I could listen to Pitts for hours. Don’t know why but the voice and draw are amazing. Sometimes I catch myself doing Pitts impressions just for fun b
