Thanks Tbone for this one! Turns out the shop that set mine up must have not had his coffee! Used this to DIY it and it shoots perfect! Got a stand for you anytime you wanna hunt!

Do your centershot the exact same way as you did the tiller. Nock an arrow and take another arrow and run it back and forth on the riser window. If it’s not square off the get go, that’s a quick way to get it dead square.

Thanks for making this video you guys! This really helped me out I was looking for a good instructional video on this topic and I think you guys did a good job explaining and demonstrating. I have a question though. What could be the issue/s or what do you need to do if your bow bottom tiller is shorter than the top tiller? I think both limb bolts are tightened equally and the timing looks good.

You set the bottom nock point 1/16 of an inch lower than the arrows nock so when you draw the string not to push the arrow up, right? Isn't that true for the upper nock point too? It wont mess with the arrows angle on the rest? Im not into archery but i want to learn a few things and get into it but i dont really get this nocking points set up.

I like to use the brass clamp type deals. All you have to do is crimp them and you can remove them if you want

Very interesting video. I'd like to try it but there's no small amount of 130# braided dacron. $20 min. There's 2 thicknesses I've found, .040" & .095". A big difference. Would be nice if you would give us the dia you use as well as brand. Thanks!!

But if I position the rest too close to the hand will the fletching not hit the bow itself? Have you ever had that issue?

You're not telling me how high should I set my rest yours looks to be 2" above the rest is where your arrow will rest

  • @toddwagoner51

Same story. A bit of downward pressure on the arrow will be better than your so called pinching of the the knock. It's a myth. 1/16" of an inch under center knocking point. With a 3/32 reverse tiller will give you just enough downward pressure on the rest. Too keep those arrows doing the same thing every time. " riseing smoothly , gaining yardage, and hitting the bull. TODDY boys the name. And archery was the game.🤓🤓🤓🤓

If you shoot a slite reverse tiller that takes the pressure of the d loop. Your angle of a reverse tiller draw, goes upwards. Meaning for top limb should be closer to the string than your bottom. Hence, a reverse tiller. Working with the 1/16 under center knocking point. WA la. Very little knock pinch.
