Try switching to a left hand retrieve bait caster. That’s what I use being right hand dominant. You don’t have to switch hands ever it’s much more convenient. Awesome vid bro 🤙

What are your thoughts on the Fathom LP so far? I've had my Fathom LP since they first came out and it is fantastic. Ever since first hearing the Clunk! of the bail closing on your mangrove fishing videos with larger spinning reels, I've always thought, based on your style of fishing, you would really benefit from one. Much better accuracy for short game casting and pounding the mangrove lines and there is no better fight for a big fish along the mangroves. I run the red trimmed Fathom LP 200, which is the high speed gear ratio and it is a fantastic Inshore hammer. You should spring for a Left Hand model.

PENN Fathom LP200

Hey dude, pretty new to fishing. Also live by the Florida coast. After trying 20lb braid with a 20 lb mono leader, I'm considering just rocking straight 10-15 lb mono for simplicity. Kinda seems like regular old cheap low test mono will work fine. What are you using for these medium sized snook, red fish and trout?

Depends on the size fish im fishing for. Most of the time my medium setups have 20 lb braid to 30 lb leader.

this bait is no better than any other swim baits falls apart easy expensive a hassel to rig had more success with doa and z man for a fraction of the price
