I really like Owner Aki 2/0 - 3/0 style J-Hooks for pilchards like that. Very rarely comes unbuttoned or throat hooked. Awesome video as always man!

epic. i need to get on a tarpon

Bro I just got back from Captiva Island. Me and a guide were able to get on some big snook back in some mangroves with some pilchards about the same size. I got a 37” then a 38” and finally a 40 “ snook using the same size baits pitching them under them under the mangroves. Prob caught at least 20 in total but those were my biggest! It was an awesome 4 hr trip. Shell Creek in Sanibel is the shit!😎👍👍

Ok buddy I’m gonna make a suggestion. How about a five??🤷‍♂️part series fishing with five different subscribers. Maybe people who don’t fish much or need help getting on fish. You could film the whole process of selecting locations, bait/lure presentation, etc.. seeing someone who has been having trouble getting on a bite be shown a solid process for finding fish. It would be fun to watch and educational for your viewers. I couldn’t take part but I’d definitely enjoy watching it. 🤷‍♂️something to think about. Anyhow great show.
