In the 70s I saw the film 'Earthquake' and in this film a scenario was already made visible about Los Angeles with catastrophic consequences.

Living in NZ (I was born here), we have an offshoot of our national faultline about 8 metres from our bedroom. About 13-14km deep. Even a small 1.2-1.3 is surprisingly noticeable when its right next to you.

I've lived a big part of my life 5 m below sea level in the Netherlands but that fact has never scared me (though it should have and still should). But I can't even imagine what it's like to live in an earth quake prone area. A storm you can see coming but an earth quake can hit any second, the scariest thing I can think about ...

Most scary part of it is that we're already living for 80 years on spare time in comparison to the average. Thanks for your great reaction as always.

The Earth is now tilted differently than normal. Every tilt of the earth therefore gives a reaction to the earth. And that creates an extreme climate and earthquakes. We see this in different periods in the present, but also in the distant past. That is part of the existence of the earth. But man has the stupidity of destroying it as well as the cleverness of making it. Here I don't mean the tilting of the earth. But how we deal with it. We need to have more respect for how we treat the people, animals, and the land we deal with. But we cannot do much about the tilting of the earth. That's something nature does every once in a while. I would say, don't panic. The earth has existed for so long and will live long after us.

So Paul, why stay there? Same here in the Netherlands. I live near the coast and beneath sealevel.. I am not going anywhere either. This land will flood for sure in the near future
