I've played most of the SAO MMO imitation games, and often the skill and ability mechanics have a lot more depth to them than you expect.

Ok so a couple of tips: 1. Instead of destroying the portals you leave them up and kill the enemies they spawn for levels and increased hp/atk. 2. Each class is not set in stone. In the official release there will be the 6 classes, however there will be multiple different characters in each class that have been confirmed to play different ( ie Asuna should be speed incarnate whilst silica would probably summon pina ). 3. The kobold boss is weak to lightning element, so use lightning weapons to deal tonnes of damage to the boss and a few enemies along the way. 4. Play the way you want if you want 0 dmg but beefy tankiness do it, if you wanna be a glass cannon do it.

@@JustJRF well even smash Bros for the N64 has player 2-4 colours and later games have alternate costumes. There's definitely room to customize with existing characters.

@@GameHunterDeathhunter never knew it was big on rule 34 I already said it but u can literally pick a game like POE as an example and turn that to 3rd person U don't have to make exclusive skills for everyone, just make A HUGE LIKE HUGE skill tree for each class, make each skill viable and thats it

it's crazy how you see some monsters from FB(Fatal Bullet), and monsters from other SAO games, kool in my opinion.

well... the "story trailer" for the game implied the new game world was basically an amalgamation of all Seed worlds so it makes sense

I like the fact you have the option to use Bots. Yes they are not good but the fight can be done with them. All that tells me is that it is possible to do solo stuff and not have to rely on a full party but it will always be better to do things with players... At least this is what came to mind for me. Correct me if I am wrong.

So upset I heard about the closed beta too late.

pretty sure there is still a chance, on the website it says that they are still selecting participants.

I stand by, even though I know a lot of people will disagree, that every SAO Game has been good. None of them are the anywhere near the best game of that year(probably not even the best one in the month they release), but they are all content packed, have decent-good gameplay(does get repetitive usually by the last 1/3 of the game), and have interesting alternate versions of the official story. They could definitely be better, but for what they are they are good.

I've enjoyed all the ones I've played I just wished they would tone down the amount of cutscenes. They tend to go a bit overboard with them.

I wish they'd make another sao where we get to make our own character and it isn't just "the kirito show with his women" that's what i enjoyed fatal bullet for the most

Can't wait to play this game had alot of fun with it in the beta

I played the last sao game quite a bit, and while it died out pretty quickly it was a pretty fun game

This game should have a character creation class base MMORPG. This game is amazing already. Players dont want to see a bunch of kirito or other character in a raid. if that is the game they going to make, they can really call it Sword art online.

Crossplay isn't broken, only xbox and playstation was crossplay day one and later throughout the days they will make it where all platforms can play together, so day one was console test but we could still add each other, thats what I figured out and they announced on twitter for the SAO beta

This feels like sao shinobi strikers if they add cac this would be a better pickup imo and a way more freedom for class skills and customization

IF, and I mean IF they add character customization, this game could shine, probably. Otherwise, this feels like an MMO with a hero choice. Aaaand with that comes Gacha. But this is Bandai, so anything might happen. Lets hope its not going to be a massive letdown like others did

On the 11th ( in Australia and EU ) and goes to the 17th. Friday, Saturday and Sunday it should be up for the weekend ( again Australian times ) with only a 4 - 5 hour maintenance in between each day

If the game lets me play solo on Playstation without ps plus then ill consider eventually getting it but this definitely seems like a multiplayer focused game that will probably require ps plus, in which case ill definitely be passing on the game, which is a huge disappointment, im definitely a solo player and i dont pay for ps plus because its a waste of money for someone like me, havent played a SAO game since i played AL on the ps4 pro back in 2021, will probably grab LR for the ps5 sometime this year, that game is more up my alley i think and the performance is looking much better than AL

Hearing the guys that made fatal bullet went with this design is disappointing. Game could have been a really expansive CAC experience with multiple play styles jumbled together. Instead its a poor mans modern overwatch esc raid battle sim with SAO characters

I hope im not the only one that feels like SAO games are not entirely how we want them (at least some of us). I Wish they would just make a proper SAO game, even though i love the storyline of the light novel and as much as my edgy teenager side loves someone like kirito i still feel like it would be amazing to make a proper MMORPG that is called SAO because thats what it is, like SAO in the beta, no main characters, no storyline (Besides your character's journey through 100 floors) and you have a player base that lives in Aincrad. the original SAO concept would be amazing to just be brought to life, this just feels like cash grabs for novel readers that want more from a different story timeline. Oh and no, SAO integral factor does not count since it still follows kirito and Asuna, i want our original journey in our Aincrad (Also that game is graphically horrible, feels like there no passion to the closest thing we have to a proper SAO)

This feels is heavily sponsored, the game looks slow and clunky as hell.

So... Since it's the best, it must mean it has all the good parts of every game right? A story, a custom character, not needing online, a second custom character like arfasys, great Customization like Fatal Bullet etc. Right? RIGHT? Of course not this is just clickbait... It's an online only game with a battle pass, even worse than Fatal Bullet or even Ali.

The graphics is still a turn off. It's 2024 and uses the same looking trash graphics.

It's just an multiplayer, so it's an instant skip for me, i care only for a story mode.
