When I went from the regular ICE 2022 RAV4 to the 2022 RAV4 Hybrid. Zero to 60 MPH was quicker. The start/stop feature was much better integrated. I saw an increase of 7+ MPG on the highway and 14+ MPG in the city. My hybrid averages about 100+ more miles on the odometer before refilling the tank over my ICE. It also rides heavier.
I have the 2024 Rav4 Prime. It has 302 Hp in sport mode. I haven't tried sport mode yet, but this car has excellent acceleration. I drive in eco and normal mode. This car can do 0-60 in 5.7 seconds.
Aloha Rob. The RAV4 does give you the oomph that you need. My 2007 RAV4 still gives me the oomph as needed.
I average 29+ mpg and the power is more than adequate. I use normal mode most of the time. I drove 106 miles today and got 39.2 mpg.
Keep our TRD OR in sport mode while pushing 245/60/18 instead of oem 225/60/18 averaging 22 mpg. On the low end not a lot of punch, give it a second or two and it wakes up.
My 19 RAV4 LE AWD Gasser is kind of sluggish off the line, but it’s quick accelerating from 40 on. This is very typical for a DOHC cam engine without a turbo.
Wow, I have only 3 k on my awd and don't do much stop n go but have not gotten less that 30 mpg combined. Hmmm It really makes a diff on what City Driving is. Had an Old style ranger years ago, brand new ,that daughter was getting 14 mpg and twas supposed to get around 20 city 26 hwy. Took it in and they said all was good. Realized she was driving 3 miles to school averaging 25 mph or less with stop signs. Once we took it on long hwy trip loaded with camping gear we got 28 mpg. So what defines city driving is so important.
We have about 2100 miles on our fwd xle, and we’re very happy with everything so far. Acceleration is fine for normal everyday driving.
I drive in Eco mode 99% of the time, and the power is just fine. Merging on the freeway a switch to Power mode will very quickly get me up to well over the speed limit if I'm not careful! Gas mileage at about 7,900 miles is 33.7 MPG. Thoroughly satisfied with the balance between power and fuel economy.

@@zeljkodjukic5889 I’ve never had any issue navigating traffic in Eco mode. The vehicle does just fine.
I have a 2024 rav4 le fwd and the power is plenty adequate. I average 29+ mph overall. Great vehicle.
