they finally doubled base storage on air and pro with no price increase on air now though so +1 for that. 64gb on the air is not enough for most people and the 256gb upgrade made your air the same price as the 128gb pro so you got put in such and awkward spot. Now that is finally gone

@@FBINion77 Yeah, I don't even like the Nintendo Switch too much, it lacks in Roblox and in a web browser where I can open through an app instead of through the wifi settings, those are the two things that is making me want to get s PC Handheld instead because I anyways have Windows 11 devices, so I know how Windows 11 works, the handheld I want is the Lenovo Legion Go, which is kinda expensive at $700, and sometimes goes on discount for $630

We use to be able to get the best ipad for less than half the current price. I remember when ipad air was the cutting edge version. The current ipad air deserves all the ipad pro features. And ipad pro should just not exist if they actually put all the good features into the ipad air

I got my MacBook Air m1 for 700 dollars at Best Buy. And it runs macOS this is way overpriced for an IPAD

The new Pencil Pro being compatible with the new M2 iPad Airs but not the M2 iPad Pros is criminal.

Oled, 120hz, Touchscreen, Pencil input, Face ID, Cellular and paired with a magic keyboard it’s a very versatile device

I love how they introduced the new M4 chip using their most useless, overrated product.

We know how it’ll go. We’ll take a risk hoping WWDC brings with it announcements of new iPadOS power user features, and it will, but then we’ll be disappointed when it still just isn’t as good as using a Mac.

I just always assumed the iPad is geared towards artists, sure it's overpriced I agree there, but my iPad pro isn't replacing my laptop until I can play modern aaa games on it which is likely not soon. My iPad is where I get all my work done and then my laptop is for my media consumption. As an artist the iPad pro is undeniably the best option and I can still play some games on it like Genshin Impact looks absolutely stunning on it. However my laptop has 8tb of storage and I use it vastly differently than I use my iPad.

Price getting way too high. Storage upgrade prices are ridiculous

Very important point you missed out. The Pro also has a 120 HZ refresh rate compared to the other two that only have 60.

As a 22 year old with very minimal responsibilities besides rent and utilities, I done got me the 13” haven’t had a iPad since the 2019 model and really wanted to get me one for daily use, can’t wait to get it later today

Might as well buy a whole MacBook at $1000...

Im thinking that most likely the Ipad air will be the one that most people will buy in the Ipad line up. Similar to what happened with the Macbook air for the MacBook lineup

The Ipad Pro should be £800 max. We use to get the best most advanced ipad for much cheaper. They leave the features like oled panel and 120hz for top of the range even though low range phones have those features. Just feels ipad air deserves these features

They’re actively trying to kill the product line. STILL no pro level OS for iPad Pro. If you spec an iPad Pro to match a MBP M3P, the iPad is about $250 MORE expensive; yet incredibly less versatile. The product makes absolutely no sense. It fits no where.

I don’t think people are still buying/using them as much as they used to. I think Apple is just out of touch with its customer base and probably “doesn’t understand why sales are down.” Apple has honestly been out of touch on most products for a bit now.

I’d buy a MacBook Pro over the iPad and keyboard

$1300? 😂 I just got a an entire 17.3" Gaming Laptop by ASUS with 144hz screen, RTX 4060, 16gb DDR5 ram and 1tb SSD for $900 new on sale on Amazon. P.S. I want to clarify I own the old 10.5 inch ipad pro to use procreate but I bought it for $600 refurb a couple years ago. My point is Ipads shouldnt be $1300 when you can get a whole, real computer for the same price or less.

for me, I just can’t picture having a tablet as a primary device… I need maximum app compatibility, which sadly forces me to a Windows laptop,. So an iPad will always be just a bonus thing for watching movies on planes or whatever, and need to be priced appropriately.

Hardware and features are a compelling argument for the price. The biggest problem with iPad is the limited OS. At this point the Pro should be on a modified version of MacOS to allow seemless iOS app usage alongside a OS you’d expect from a personal computer. iPadOS with this and any of the M series Pro’s is like putting a Ferrari on a race track after they added speed bumps every 10 feet.

And no iPad mini 7 which is what everyone wanted.

Buy all those accessories for the 13” and it’s less than $100 cheaper than the 14” MacBook and that’s a legit computer with desktop OS. So I guess it comes down to if you want to pay laptop prices for a touch screen with limited ports and mobile OS blown up

iPad Pro 13 inch 1TB Nano Textured Glass with keyboard and pencil is $4227 AUD. All of that just to run iOS. I wouldn’t get it for that price even if it ran macOS.

Apple is a 70% hardware 30% software company. They are reaching the limits of diminishing returns on hardware. They rely on thinness, lightness, speed and power as the defining attributes of their products. The hardware is more powerful than most people need. They need to invest more money in software development and less money in hardware development. People need compelling OS and application functionality to justify an investment in an upscale iPad. Apple knows what the software shortcomings are with iPadOS. But they refuse to invest in software upgrades. Most KZread reviews of this latest iPad Pro are critical of the software while praising the hardware. Apple marketing decision makers refuse to allow the needed enhancements to iPadOS for fear of cannibalizing Mac sales. That is a strategy bound to fail.

I’m torn with keeping my old iPad Pro 2020 and Apple Pencil 2 or the 13” iPad air Apple is giving me $410 in trade in
