Just had the same delivered, good bike all round.

Sounds like the Original Gold Star , I owned a Gold Star for eight Years , and if it sounded like that , I would have been worried sick .

I would have been happy my golde sounded like a bag of nails origanal always being stoped by the police for being to lowd in town rose tinted glasses comes to mind when i go to a classic bike day always take a pair 76 years young life long biker (no car licence ) just saying

Out of interest, I totally agree with you. You will hear me say that it has got a BSA sound about it but not sure about a Goldstar sound !

I haven't seen one in red until now. They usually show the chrome with silver. Nice bike man.

Looking good and they took extensive care to keep the characteristics and the look. Great to see bikes that are diffrent from the masses, but i usually like smart and straight technical solutions instead of a lot of extra weight to make it look original. Verry intresting bike nevertheless and i hope they manage to ramp up the production to a healthy number, there is certainly a lot of intrest on the bike.

Hope they get an extensive dealership network in the US of A . That is one great looking and sounding bike. I wish they still had kickstart

There are lots of other bikes which have liquid cooled engine and don't use a big, cheap looking agricultural radiator, the plastic mock engine cases with rifle stickers! Really on a near 7 grand machine they couldn't come up with something better before production release, exactly how long are they going to stay on with weather and washing? Oh yeah and light? It's only 4kg lighter than the Intercepter, which is a twin

it is a single 650. Its engine is complex so It will cost that much as mass produced v twins cost this much

It sounds nothing like a proper gold star people who think it does obviously have never heard an original. you cannot get the same sound from a high reving short stroke engine as you can from the older lower reving long stroke engines.

As a single I think I would have to compare it to the RE Meteor 350 rather than the 650 twin Interceptor.

Fist thing apart the Tank looks good...the rest of the bike looks nothing like a GOLDSTAR..and to say it sounds like one it doesn't no twitter? When you think it's built on a bike that is 20 years old that you can buy for about half the price.l wish BSA well but this bike will not cut it. When they picked the GOLDSTAR they picked a icon it's got to be better than this.

Goldies twitter on a fast overrun, not at tick over.

There is nothing BSA about it at all. and does not even look the part. I have a 1961 BSA golden flash, and I know which one I prefer. At least mine is British.

The old goldies looked great and sounded even better, but they where one of the most over rated motorcycles of all time, they where just basically an over tuned over geared big old British thumper with crap brakes!!

Grossly overweight, shoddy components, foolish price...what's not to like? I presume that the hagiography in the comments section was purchased. Veteran bikers are hard to fool.

It's a disgrace to call a rebadged Jawa aBSA.
