Crisafulli had a speeding ticket withdrawn on the basis he was a news reporter and had close working relationship with Police. How do I know? I issued the ticket. My Snr Sgt hid the withdrawing of the ticket from me. Crisafulli had a reputation for calling Inspectors when he got pulled over to play the get out of jail free card. Crisafulli built his own cubby house own public land. In fact, I got investigated over the checking of Crisafulli by a now Assistant Commissioner of the QPS, who quickly turned the other way when I told her how the ticket got withdrawn.

As a Queenslander, I can say that the Labour Government has done nothing but F$ck up everything. From Draconian border closures (people weren’t allowed to visit dying relatives); bungled Infrastructure projects that took WAY longer and went over-budget; Not to mention embarrassing us on the world stage with the Brisbane Olympics debacle. Labor has ruined our state, so I’d be glad to see them go. Steven Miles knows they’re screwed as well.

Until you have had your car stolen and half your friends have had their car stolen you won't understand. And frankly, the miles bloke is incompetent, giving $1000 handouts in an election year.... making transport 50 cents for 6 months, look I'll take it but it's all just buying votes and will only exist for a few months around election time... and then the Olympics is going to be held in the middle of absolutely nowhere. That's not even accounting-for the fact that, had the land gone to auction as required, it may have sold for far more than "market valuation". I'd love to know how that $100K discount was justified. 50 cents is great but we need to improve our frequencies and introduce direct services. Need more buses and trains too. And I don’t get why we can’t just let students tap their student card and get in for free, because after all they never really tap on, so whose saying that they would start paying the 50c. I believe kids go cards should be free on weekends and also during all of school holidays. The Brisbane city council pensioners free off peak should be expanded to the entire translink system. Airtrain turned into public hands. Also reduce tolls and council owned parking to 50c and to do that we will have to have TransLink takeover the payments whilst the government or council or TMR or whatever runs them. It’s over Transurban, Wilson and Secure. The government will own your parking. Same with you Westfield and Brisbane airport.

These last two videos were exceptional Jordan. Thank you. It’s so refreshing to hear honesty… and the spirit of keeping it real. If we had governments full of people keeping it real we could truly move mountains together and make it to the stars brother man. We don’t have to destroy the planet in the process. It’s all about the balancing act. Everything comes back to the balance. Intelligent humans can find the balance. But how does one remove corruption from the human person? Greedy little goblins with the grubby mitts out grabbing cash from each other under dirty tables. How do we overcome such wretched depravity and deplorable depths. What if I told you some human persons can resist corruption better than others. How do we seek out those persons and inspire them enough to work together in a small no frills government. Transparency and morals. And a democratic voting system would be nice something simple and secure. Building towards a good future. Does it truly have to be such a far fetched dream. Can we tip the balance from 60 percent negative humanity to 60 percent happy humanity. Oh the humanity! Jordan if we truly were an intelligent species. We could make it happen.

@@themcfunnel I just find it weird then that the original commenter said a 30 minute drive RE most treatments when Gympie is severely underfunded and has had a heap of services wound back, pushing us to travel to SCUH (full transparency - this has happened under QLD Labor and SCUH is not close to most of the Gympie region whatsoever, plus SCUH is a shit hospital full of people who, fair enough need to learn somewhere but actually misdiagnose people and kill them, ie my own grandmother). Maryborough is trash, so if Hervey Bay is average, the original commenter has severely underestimated the actual commute time. Isn't SCUH nearly 2hrs from Methyborough? Even then, sometimes we have to go to hospitals in Brisbane for specialists. On a Friday that's 3-4hrs from Gympie let alone 30-45mins up the road.... TL;DR the situation in Gympie and Fraser regions with hospitals is extremely dire at this point. I don't blame people from these areas being salty at Labor, especially Gympie when the hospital has been gutted under Labor. Love the gov's policies but they've screwed up with Gympie Hospital, worst case they're neglecting the region because it's an extremely safe LNP stronghold. No theory on Maryborough though since that's at least historically had Labor reps.

The people there don't really identify with them that strongly because they're perceived as parties from Sydney and Melbourne and they don't really care about their interests. Because of this you'll get really weird election results where they will vote one party in in a landslide at one election and then completely change their mind at the next election when the issues change. First and foremost they vote for the party they perceive stands up for their state's interests the most, they're not as concerned about the political ideology of the party as much. Mark McGowan won like 90% of the seats in the last WA state election and then within a year the Liberals are outpolling Labor again. Massive wildcards.

not sure about WA but that doesn't apply to Queensland. I don't know if you would call it loyalty but Queensland had a labor government (under ned hanlon and others) for 24 years straight, then a nationals government for 32 years straight, and a then (now) a labor government for about 31 of the last 35 years. They don't change parties very often.

A lot of people who were going to vote Labor who don't want to vote greens are just going to vote a random independent.. mainly cos of Palestine.. . I'm not smart enough to convince anyone of anything.😥

no, that's not quite right - Back in the day, beer quality was measured in Xs. The Castemaine brewery’s first brew produced was XXX Sparkling Ale, which was awarded three Xs. The results were promising, but something was missing. So in 1924, they perfected the recipe further, gaining a fourth X.

Im a 20 years old Queenslander and I don't care what the LNP has done, there's no way they can be worse than the current State Labor government. I live in SEQ and frankly don't know one person my age who thinks differently. They are the most inept government in the country.
