What you call 'a ponzi-like scheme' is just a classic case of 'trading while insolvent'. It is not a ponzi scheme, but it is a specific crime that will get you jail time as a director. Ironically the easy out is restructuring under bankruptcy protection, its effectively legal to keep trading that way if you follow the right steps.

according to swagger, that story is just the result of them being absolute morons, they didnt drug him on purpose. an actual story that you should be talking about is an anecdote from The TwitchCon Story on their podcast in which they say that Fitz and a friend of theirs were drugged by a guy who got the idea from Ryan himself. Seriously. I have no problem with people who use or even abuse alcohol or drugs. But this messed up behavior of forcing those habits on unwitting people was gross when it was just spiking the punch at parties in 80s boner comedies. Maybe back then people could innocently claim they were just getting their jollies or whatever, now we should just assume its exactly as predatory as putting roofies in their drink.

Holy shit. This explains a lot about why Misfits just kind of dipped, out of the blue. However, the "not much corroborating evidence" part baffles me. If you listen to the first 20 or so episodes of their podcast, there's a LOT of talk about how Ryan made a habit of getting people fucked up on drugs no matter where they were/went. Even then, it felt predatory and weird that he was constantly pushing drugs at the Misfits, especially considering one of the group's major issues with drugs over the years.

While I don't disagree, I think the level of accusation here rises to lawsuit/criminal prosecution. In this case, lawyering up and letting them handle it is the safer move until the litigation/trials are over. Which could admittedly take years because the legal system in America is so beyond fucked that it isn't even funny. But those are the times we live in

Come on now that's just throwing the baby out with the bath water. You better steer clear of literally any product ever if you're worried that one of those companies might be unethical. I'd argue products from CREATORS like Sourboys from Oompaville who owns and operates his own FDA approved factory to make his candy are far more ethical.

We see the huge amount of effort you put into your videos, and that makes your videos awesome.

I worried my payment bounced and it didnt renew cause youtube does its months to the minute you paid (last time I couldnt afford it, ads started at 8:42 pm. Day it expired)
