@@Derdekify 2001 Volkswagen new beetle in yellow. At the time I go into an accident in my 96’ VW golf gl and got totaled. My boss had that car pretty much ready to give to me. So I drove it for like 3 years to save money and taught me humility

One of these raced up next to me in my Focus ST and I thought for sure he was gonna try to show off and race... Nope. He gave me a thumbs up and waved. I did the same thing and everyone around saw the hot hatch gang in action. That was way cooler than it should of been to me, I really want to join the Veloster N family now lol.

I owned a 2019 stinger gt and leased a 2022 stinger gt and got out of my lease early and just bought a 2022 veloster N and I love the car !!! Way more fun to drive and it pulls pretty hard from 2nd-3 . The stinger was a launch car and obviously a whole lot more of a car but it’s just fun to drive and I don’t regret it. I just installed mud flaps and ordered intake !!!

love how they keep improving this car - almost bought one in 2019 but ended up with the Type R Civic. Some days still wish for the amazing backfires and sounds!

You can always sell you CTR and switch over! The backfires are unmatched in this car. I am definitely biased towards the Veloster N but it is amazing!

I have a 2021 in performance blue..so fun to drive..I kept trying to get a type R a 2021 but everywhere I went BS markup..some insanely marked up..I also was looking at the N as well..plus the new sports seats that light up are so nice..plus being able to adjust the dampers. fun all around.

Congrats! I wanted the blue but, as we mentioned, the only available one was in white which is still really nice! These cars are so good all around and I feel like you get way more than you pay for! I walked into a Honda dealer and there was a 15k markup on a Type R. It brought the total price to 56k... No thank you! 😁

@@jonidontknow the white is still great also.. can't go wrong with any of the colors..they had to bring mine over from another state as a dealer trade.. there wasn't any N's available at all when I got mine at the end of January.

Best car ever bought a dct 2021 two weeks ago in performance blue it drives like the old bmws when they use to have a soul lol I’ve owned bmws and I’ve never had this much fun with a car.

Just bough a 22. It is legit. The sound is addicting.

Love the car. Just wish dealers weren't gouging in my area FRESNO CA...i used to live there.

Thanks for subbing! I saved and waited for the ‘21 to get those new bucket seats you see as well as a bunch of safety features that are now standard that didn’t exist in the 2019 and 2020 models. Safety features like blind spot, rear cross traffic alert when reversing, as well as lane keep assist. It has a button on the steering wheel that reads the lanes in a road and basically just drives itself. I kept my hands off the wheel for minutes at a time...

@@jonidontknow I really like those new seats and I noticed the infotainment screen got a refresh as well. As for safety stuff I'm not really a huge fan of stuff beeping at me as I am already an attentive driver who loves manual transmissions. Was it hard to avoid dealer mark-ups? It seems like the '21 with stickshifts are going to be harder to come by ughh. My other choice is the ND2 Miata

@@Aurablade77 The great thing is is that you can turn off all the safety systems and they stay off! It was a little hard to avoid dealer markups, luckily, I somehow got mine with no markup. It depends on which state you are in. If you are in Florida or California, its going to be tough... If you are anywhere in the middle, its not problem! Yes the seats are amazing and the infotainment got a very beautiful, sophisticated update!

hi there i'm about to buy the 2022 veloster n. how do you make the back fire pops?

I have a 2020 and it doesn't pop as much as that car. Stock?? They are soooooo much fun to drive, way more entertaining than a Civic Type-R.

Ive got a 3.8 genesis coupe and im seriously tempted to get one of these 2021 veloster n instead.

I have a 2011 Genesis Coupe and a 2020 Veloster N w/PP. My coupe is so reliable I refused to trade it. It's my cruising car, but the N is my fun car.

Some sound is coming from the speaker, so I wish there are ways to disable it.

I have a high flow cat on mines resonators removed and a throttle body spacer on mines so far.

I have a 2020 N and does tank ever take a hit in N Custom. Once the Oil Temp is up to Temp it becomes way more burbly specially in 1st gear letting your foot off the gas.

My only complaints are the oil gets pretty hot on track, and I boil my brake fluid in one or two laps. Other than that, love mine.

The speakers have an insane amount of bass! I love bass and I thought it was maxed out when it was at its normal setting...

These speakers are excellent - Hyundai did a great job. Most of the dubstep gets played in the Focus on the 10in sub haha :)

Torque-wise not so much. It kind of feels naturally aspirated which is what the engineers were going for. Check out some of the roll races we have done with the veloster n vs my focus st :)

Nismo 370z was my previously car. Veloster N stock is laps better in every way!!!

there's at least 6 new 2021 N's for sale in and around the GTA, maybe up to 100km radius. Not that hard to find. They seem to bit sitting for awhile as well.

I had the pleasure of test driving the 2021 and model a 2015 and a 2017. The 15 was a turbo manual and the 17 was an automatic. I felt that they were all shit. I ended up going with a Honda Civic SI and oh my God I love it.

I can see it getting annoying when you're going through resi neighbourhoods with lots of stop signs, or stop and go traffic. But you can literally just turn the burbles and pops off with a press of a button, so... They did a great job allowing you to customize settings in N-Custom mode.

Sold my 6 week old 2021 Veloster N DCT because it's a lousy daily driver. The suspension is WAY too stiff, even on the softest setting. If you buy one, be prepared to feel all road imperfections and get airborne on every freeway rut.

Not if you roll you the windows and put it in Eco or Normal mode! It is great then.
