As an E5 reservist, I listen to this while in the gym every once in a while. After a few times, I start thinking I’m indoctrinating myself. But then I’m like, but these are the good things to believe in. So it’s not the bad.

I have the same book. The book has a ton of small errors, this is one of them.

It is "I will strive to remain tactically and technically proficient" not technically and tactically proficient.

Actually the rule of thumb is you’re stating the creed in a garrison environment it’s technically first, if you’re deployed it’s tactically first. There is no right or wrong
