I blocked and deleted him. You described him to the T! This all happened last summer. I almost gave in but something told me it wasn't right i was very hesitant. Intuition is a deep gut feeling that won't go away about a particular person, whether good or bad. Good = feeling uplifted and excited. Yup she text last week saying she loves and misses me and she was sorry to please forgive her. She was checking herself into rehab odds are because she's homeless again right now. My intuition tells me she's going to tell me she wants to come back when she gets out. I'm pretty sure she knows it's not going to happen she also has schizophrenia so I truly feel for her knowing the struggle she goes through but I have to look out for my own mental health first now. I can do nothing for her but break myself and she has to do the inner work on her own. I still love her unconditionally and care about how she's doing. I forgave her for the sake of my own sanity but I'll never be able to forget what happened. What I've learned from all the videos I've watched and articles I've read on personality disorders unfortunately there's really not much hope for them.

She still lives in the same bldg, which makes it awkward - and so of course regularly engages in many odious behaviors such as gossip with the live in mgr lady in order to feel good about herself by denigrating others. Thankfully she has mostly had to keep to herself after being exposed as the toxic person she is. I would say in my case at least, more of a full-blown sociopath that really doesn't have a conscience anymore than even just a full-blown narcissist.

There's no reason to punish someone for leaving. You just know they're not the type to take seriously. If you do deal with them, you can't really make it a point to give them what they're requesting.

I kid you not I live next to mine, it’s awful and I’ve been working around her schedule to leave my house when she’s gone and today she left way later than usual today and I had to go to the doctors for wound care so I couldn’t miss it. Initially they do all the right things to deceive the person, then they only breadcrumb, and delight in causing an emotional roller-coaster of a situation. The kind Heart hopes the good side of them will return, so they give chances and keep hoping. It becomes a trauma bond due to the manipulation and feelings that had once been there. Always empty apologies and asking for chances, but they never change.
