maywethers punching technique is very flawed and is the prominent reason of not being able to hurt elite guys.his hooks often dont land with the knuckles or with proper torque, and his straight right hand is often thrown while leaning forward, not twisting and sitting on it.

First of all, what Davis did against Garcia is not a "pull". It's a level change. Second, this "2 foot theory" is nothing you came up with. Floyd was 4-5 years ginger than Oscar with better out of ring habits admittedly but also 200 fewer total fights. If anyone thinks amateur boxing doesn’t put miles on your body you are clueless. People forget it's a business. Floyd built his brand on 'undefeated'. IMO, there is no such thing as TBE. Contexts are too variable. Athletes get commodified and the sport moves from 'live of the sport and playing for pride' to 'best ever and biggest purse'. Athletes reduce risk as payouts grow. Same thing happened in UFC. If HEMA catches on, the same will happen. It's the way markets work.

Does he have anyone equal to prime Leonard, Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Crawford, Whitaker, Haney, Boots on his resume? Shakur and Boots alone beat everyone Floyd fought with relative ease. Floyd was arguably the most technically skilled boxer in history who never once fought a boxer who was known for their scientific ability. But everybody has flaws including the guy who is 50-0. @@KevinLuna-uq3bmHe ducked winkey wright and that’s not even debatable, ducked ggg and waited till manny got ko’d till he fought him. As for manny not wanting to test, that’s cap as a matter of fact manny asked to test Floyd and when they did he came up for peds due to his hand injury’s. This is literally a google search away and 100% fact, Floyd popped then they swept it under the rug for him he was using during hatton, cotto, Castillo 1. When it was all said and done manny still fought with testing so the narrative that he ducked because of testing has a fatass hole due to the fact he did it anyways. Floyd also ducked another fighter than I’m not finna name right now cuz I can’t remember his name, I’ll come back if I see it come up again.

Floyd didnt have the best technique, but he was a great champion. Not TBE at all tho. He almost always fought outside the "rules" of the sport. He tuned his back to his opponent alot too. ALWAYS had the ref, compubox, commentators, and judges on his side. Entire career almost manufactured to be 50-0 one better than Rockys famous 49-0.

Love your content, Matt. "first to be able to teach punching power to anyone"? Debatable. But i like your style ;) This vid is extremely cherry picked, sorry bro. Is there a 'Myth' around Floyd? Yes. 2 in fact. You omitted Floyd's early career where he was a KO artists and way more aggressive. You only showed 1 myth... Older Floyd had busted hands and he changed switched from Aggro to Kiting opponents that cant cut the Ring. Older Floyd is the MASTER of CONTROLLING what the Judges see. He is active early and late in the round with ...just enough... activity in the middle of the round to not look like hes coasting even though he is. Thats why the first 2-3 rounds vs Pac he took Center Ring and Pac was dumbfounded(eh...hes supposed to be running from me...), then he got Pac lunging in like a fool later on. Looks great. Pac had no answers. You keep mentioning how Floyd was out of position after his engagement. You DIDNT ask why Pac didnt capitalize on that(over and over). you are correct that Floyd only acts on the 1-2 beat but thats because he Kites his opponent and LOWERS their punch count. What was Pac's punch count in May Pac compared to his usual average? Lower. If he cant Kite, he clinches. Yes, Floyd 'cheats' and i would say theres a case to claim he purposely cherry picks his Ref. Why didnt Pac cheat back or at least punish Floyd?(pick his knee, step on Floyds foot, 'accidently' fall into Floyd and do a takedown?) He doesnt know how. Pac doesnt fight in the clinch. Pac is very one dimensional. Wilson Kayden pointed this out and now i cant unsee it. Pac had no answers. Floyd was in a rush to get away from Pac in an exaggerated manner after a 1-2 beat because thats where Manny does best: as his opponent comes forward(or stands still) and Manny can Triangle Step(Escrima/Panantukan?) in-out. Manny was the shorter, less reach fighter and Manny...cant cut the ring... so Floyd was getting him to lunge in. Wilson Kayden made the case that Manny is a counter puncher, and basically called May-Pac BEFORE the fight(IMO). You quote Tank on doing the same 3 things in a row, Floyd did that to Pac AT WILL. Why didnt Pac punish that? He couldnt. Watch Pacs rear hand as he defends. He has no rear hand defense. So why would Floyd quit doing it if it worked? Pac again, had no answers. Floyd's training footage was Media driven. Ive been fortunate enough to have trained for a brief time with one of Floyds old sparring partners, he claimed the guy was a machine. 20 minute sparring session with rotating partners. The energy cost wasnt as great as you claim, cuz Floyd is the master of slowing down fights. See above about the show he puts on for the Judges. Now, im NOT knocking Manny. Dudes a legend. But May Pac was a styles mis-match and Floyd was THE Ring General. Wanna see where Floyd falls apart??? Floyd vs Castillo 1(Castillo was turning and timing the windows in Floyd;s stance). Floyd's revenge was solid though. Floyd vs Judah( Judah was doing what Floyd does but was the first to give up mentally) Floyd vs Maidana1( Maidana beat the shit out of Floyd via roughhouse and his near vertical Overhand Right. Floyd's face waiting for the decision tells the tale). Floyd's revenge was solid as well. PEDs??? Assume all athletes are on them. "Passing a PED test is basically an IQ test" - cant remember which trainer said that. Note when Manny slowed in his career and the KOs went away and when he switched Trainers. Coincidence? Im not blaming, pro Sports is a flesh trade, unfortunately. Skullduggery as Tyson said. Look forward to your commentary on May Pac 2...even though its likely to be a geezer fight.

Crawford’s corner would tell him he needs to pressure and knock Mayweather out. But Floyd’s not going to trade, and skill to skill, Floyd would win by numbers of punches. Granted Crawford doesn’t punch as hard as Mosley. So even if he hits Mayweather with the same shot, Mayweather would adjust. Skill for skill Mayweather takes it. Bud has better physical attributes and more bulky. But Mayweather would win.

If you could be honest, which you can't, you would just acknowledge that you are out of your depth and only responding to fouts because you are upset he is criticizing a boxer you bought into.
