I have a insane theory: Hear me out tho. Huggy, he is 6th one, But he is the proto type 1-5 are the toys scattered about but did not get the features Huggy did, Poppy, Catbee, the dino, the robot, the Pink version of Huggy, Only Huggy was a prototype with new features, perhaps the older toys were supposed to be upgraded at some point but failed cause of huggy's aggressiveness, But due to Huggy being popular they only did testing on his giant form and a few of his smaller minions to see if the prototype experiments were able to get rid of said aggressiveness. Poppy might have been locked away, not to keep her from getting out, but maybe to keep her safe, maybe Huggy was extremely jealous of the other toys and killed them all to ensure he was the only one loved by kids, and killed the workers who tried to shut him down, or possibly upgrade others in some way of what he thought was replacing him. he wanted to be number 1, and Poppy made that impossible as she was probably the favorite of the owner. They did not want to risk anything so they locked her away, Huggy stopped going after her, and instead got the rest of the toys and killed them before they were saved, Poppy tho could somewhat control Huggy and only for a short amount of time as true character always seems to come out from people being controlled for too long, just enough to get the player to get close to escaping through the vents as people did before. People thought she was dangerous, but maybe, they were not warning signs for her being dangerous, but dangerous if Huggy could get to her. As if, they are trying to trick him so he leaves her alone. Or that anybody who goes to her is killed by Huggy. But that's just one theory of many

Huggy is NOT experiment 1006. As you can listen in the FINAL tape of chapter 1, it says *Experiment 1006 has gone MISSING* and huggy clearly isn't missing. So it's something else. Chapter 2 Edit : Experiment 1006 is *The claw*

It’s the player in the game that we’re are playing is experiment 1006 he’s an “ex-co member” who came back to the place almost like he was missing, he’s very short and uses the grab pack for everything. Showing he’s a toy. He’s what the company were trying to make. He’s not a rogue toy rather he thinks like a normal worker in the factory. And he’s obviously pretty smart making him the prototype. The coordination, cooperation both somewhat fit him. Especially cooperation. He’s cooperating with poppy, as he’s getting lured to poppy by huggy, and then opens her case. But if he fails and dies to huggy you see somebody talking to him in the death screen. “Don’t die just yet” which is most likely poppy, who also wrote the note to him about finding the flower. Coordination could be defined as the ability to move efficiently, carefully, quickly and purposefully. Which really fits the player, as he outsmarts poppy at the end of the chase scene. One more thing coordination means working together Efficiently, which is what he is doing with poppy.

@@smexysalsa5470 I have seen this statement about the player being short a few times, but really, everything in the building, most of which designed for adults is about level with the player. The player looks small because of the design of the building with distorted, heavily stylized proportions to fit the childish theme. The best frame of reference for the players height is the staff doors throughout the facility, which all seem to be standardized. Assuming this takes place in the usa (based on the sorts of ads shown) standard commercial door dimensions are on average about 36 inches by 80 inches (Which is 91.44 by 203.2 cm.). Sadly there is nothing standardized we can move around to use as a measuring stick on top of this, so I can only roughly guess, but the player appears to be 5'6 (167.64 cm) based on how tall they are in relation to the staff doors. 5'6 is not a unusual height for a adult male, and would be above average for a female.

@@smexysalsa5470 it doesn’t seem like the player is any experiment, and when the scientist talks about experiment 1006 you can hear the huggy jumpscare scream in the background. Also sometimes when killed, it shows “experiment 1006, isn’t he wonderful?” Implying huggy is exp 1006

@@FastForwardPlans the player is the size of a small table ☠️ also he does nothing human in the game at all. He’s able to jump from far and the noise sounds like a toy noise. He doesn’t say a single word The Whole game, and doesn’t use his actual arms for things you need strength with. He uses the grab pack for strength. The player is not even taller then thing in the beginning where u have to jump over to get through the first door. I’d say the player is 4 feet maximum.

i love this game only because of the immersion that is insanely well made, the sign at 0:40 is a very good example of this, this could be something that could exist irl, and not only ig, this is why this game is so special for me

The thing is, Huggy isn’t confirmed to be 1006. He’s implied to be. The main reason people consider 1006 to be huggy is because it comes after his vent chase but the tape doesn’t tell us what 1006 is yet

Looking on the wikis online- under the aliases it lists huggy wuggy as 1006. I can see it being true. Huggy is incredibly intelligent, he did fool you into believing he was a mere statue and then tactfully hunted you down and stalked you throughout the factory

@@ceecee3583 Remember that the wiki is fanmade - anything a fan believes can be put on there. Plus, though Huggy is intelligent, that doesn't mean he's the _only_ intelligent toy in the facility. Poppy herself is an example, and we may well see more in later chapters.

I'm convinced huggy is NOT 1006, to the point I made a video about it. In the scientist take, the scientist clearly says 1006 is still missing yet you can hear Huggy's scream in that same tape. Why would he say huggy is "still missing" in the middle of being actively hunted by huggy? If huggy supposedly feels no need to eat, then why does he eat is instead of hugging us when he captures us? There are many other pieces that just don't fit, but those are a few that I'm shocked so many people seem to overlook. I think Huggy is the security feature which Laith Pierre warned us about and we, the player, are 1006, explaining why poppy called us "too perfect to lose"

I'm pretty sure that huggy, dispite having no need to eat, is still really fucking hungry. I mean i go borderline full psycho when my usual enternal (in the very literal sense) feeling of light hunger, turns into a painful need to eat. Atleast i have a at minimum somewhatly filled kitchen at hand to emidiately react ... most of the time (asuming i am not out somewhere). Huggy doesnt have this luxury, so it gones many steps of the way to trap its prey to, again, eat. I mean all humans go increasingly crazy if deprived of atleast one of thier base needs. Or if convinced well inaff that an upper need (they are deprived of) is one of thier base needs. (Case point: Religion, Security, Wealth, etc.)

There are quite a few theories on Huggy Wuggy Poppy etc. So here's mine: The developers haven't even figured out a storyline yet because it was probably just a quick game that they didn't know would gain as much buzz. There going to use pieces all of the hundreds of theories out there to make it make sense. Modern marketing at its finest. Also, I noticed not many have came up with a answer to who the playable character, why are they in the factory or how they acquired the grab pack so I suggest yall get to it 😅

What about the red and blue hand in the room where you first encounter Huggy? Doesn't that imply, before you progress (after getting the red hand), that you must back track to open the "mystery" room that no one, I've seen, has discovered yet?

You can't back track, and even if you used cheats there's just no code for you to unlock that door, think of it like the door of Bendy and the Ink Machine in chapter 1

@@coned-up probably for a future chapter, not chapter 2 or 3, but for almost a final chapter, like a scene where you try to flee the place... However, I think that looking at the map it was seen that the door lead to the main room

Digestive track? I don't know if it makes Huggy more or less threatening knowing that he poops

I do find it interesting there are scratch marks on the wall in the shape of a claw with the words wonderful under it and in the black tape there's a claw shape in the video.

Something I’m confused about with Chapter 2 release is that another creature seems to be referred as Exp 1006 and referred to as the “prototype” the first tape that mentions Exp 1006 and the death screen point to Huggy Wuggy being Exp 1006 in the tape it kinda sounds like the noise Huggy Wuggy makes when he is chasing you through the vents. In Chapter 2 Exp 1006 is mentioned and seems nothing like the previously mentioned Exp 1006 If we’re going off of the ex worker turned into toys theory maybe Exp 1006 is referred to the worker used and maybe 1006 was used for two toys I don’t know it’s weird but the two tapes of Exp 1006 definitely feel like two different beings/ toys

That makes a lot of sense ngl. If poppy is in fact the mind behind all of this, i feel like hes not meant to be threatening. I think he wants help but due to the fact that he was made for security reasons he cant help but harm people instead

As someone who has had a BATIM obsession, this game, from what I have seen, is 100% inspired by BATIM.

I don’t think that poppy will be a villain simply because she could not harm us because of her size

I actually had a theory that huggy wuggy was a person(trapped inside) so that's why there was blood and he was trying to get help but the toy controls him to do what he doesn't want to do(killing people but that's his only food source) and poppy was behind this

I dont think that poppy is behind all this , i think poppy is stella since she said in her tape that she wished to go back to being a kid

Does nobody consider maybe the jolly rancher still feels hunger? Now maybe it can live without it but it does have a system, a seemingly empty one now. So perhaps it desires it’s hunger to be satisfied and us being the only way for that?

My theory is, We, the player is actually a toy. Other workers have been turned into a toy (by somebody we haven't seen yet) and we are one of them. And huggy wuggy is trying to kill us. As we see, he kills all toys. Which is why I think we're a toy.

He is not, he devours people, huggy may be a distorted person and when seeing a toy he scans and finds the person in there and eats it, that’s why he eats us, we are a person.

I’m not that interested in the game, so I don’t really want to have a whole debate about something I’m not very familiar with, but it’s a theory, so if you don’t like it that much, it’s not confirmed yet.

And now, we feel dumb because Huggy Wuggy wasn’t experiment 1006, but an robotic hand.

i don't think poppy is evil :-( tbh i think that she probably was ok with being made into a toy but probably didn't want *gestures* this to happen. i think it would be really cool if she ends up being a companion or something in chapter 2!

After chapter 2 comes out watching this and calling huggy wuggy experiment 1006 the prototype makes me and maybe everyone feel like an idiot and very infuriated

The five other experiments are kissy, bron, catbee, candy cat, and poppy. Boogie bot is a bot so no human experiment s would be needed

Huggy is actually 1170, while 1006: the prototype is much worse

I'm so excited for chapter two

fun fact: I recorded a vid of huggy wuggy's jumpscare and I slowed the recording down to see some human teeth in him

New info suggest that "1006" is not huggy but something even more dangerous while huggy is "1170" this prototype might be the most dangerous creature in playtime co. Hidden away deep is the facility!!

They're actually a reflection of the room/floor, just without Huggy in it. The illusion of eyes is probably intentional, though.

I think 1006 is the ORIGINAL Huggy. and the ones we see are the finished models that actually made it out of production. 1006 is now collecting the bodies of slain or disabled characters to fuse with it's exo skeleton. (judging by the hand, it must be a mix of flesh and exo-skeleton as if you look at it's arm, it has flesh and bone on it.

Huggy wuggy is not experiment 1006 because If 1006 is missing how could he be back and experiment 1006 does not need to eat like the other experiments to survive and we see huggy wuggy eating us when he die and there is a death screen that says “Exp.1006 isn’t he wonderful” but it’s not huggy wuggy it would be something more organic and a more stronger type and 1006 is the same thing that probably made the employees disappeared and destroyed the factory toys as pieces of toys can be found ripped apart in places And 1006 was the 1006th experiment which means there is 1005, other experiments and the VHS tapes are probably the colors of the experiments and there are hand prints and those the experiments of the past 1006 is the last experiment that we will probably know the final handprint was green and the final VHS tape was dark which probably shows the color of the experiment itself they used adult souls to create larger versions of the factory’s toys called experiments in the games trailer we see poppy in her chair with blood in the room where probably the employees were killed and hunted down in the final tape we can hear the workers and scientists in the vents running away from the creature that they just saw which was 1006 but they were not lucky enough which caused them all to get killed and get deceased and the experiment was probably gonna be in the future chapters of the game
