This year, MXR is celebrating 40 years of innovation with a series of mini documentary videos covering its history as well as the personal stories of the lives and music it affected.
This episode focuses on Marcus Miller and his long time relationship with MXR. A virtuosic multi-instrumentalist, grammy-award winning producer and composer, Marcus came into national prominence at a young age by becoming one of the most sought after session bass players in the country. That renown has now become global with his continued mastery of the bass and his reputation as an electrifying performer, conductor, and instructor.
In this video Marcus shares stories of drove him to a life of music as well as his philosophy behind using effect pedals to inspire and connect with listeners in new and exciting ways.

    This guy is nothing but really honest about music. I can't imagine how deep is he's conection with the sound making, but I know he's a guy that takes it in a serious and true way to do it! That guy is one of the men that take music to next level of feeling. Thanks for making this video. I'll keep on having MRX products. They sound nothing but great!

    other than compression and EQ, Marcus virtually never uses effects just happy to endorse whoever for a few $$$'s
