The Music of Star Wars: In Conversation with Steven Reineke

It’s unbelievable to fathom that Star Wars creator George Lucas originally entertained the idea of using pre-existing music when developing Star Wars: A New Hope, instead of using an original soundtrack. Fortunately, John Williams managed to convince him otherwise, thus bringing to life one of the most iconic (and difficult to perform!) film scores of all time.
An interstellar adventure awaits with your Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Principal Pops Conductor Steven Reineke in this orchestra feature, as they perform your favourites from all nine films in the Skywalker saga, PLUS the anthology films Rogue One and Solo. Experience The Music of Star Wars, April 16, 17 & 19 at Roy Thomson Hall!
