The Most Unhealthy Foods At Ruth's Chris Steak House

Ойын-сауық

Ruth's Chris sells one steak so big it provides the average person enough calories by itself to last a day and a half. And it's not the only thing you have to watch out for on the menu.

Ruth Chris is a favorite restaurant! Why even post this? There are 1000's of places like this, so do them all!? Most people don't eat this way every day! Dumb content, and you wasted our time!

Thank you for sharing the video. My wife and I are huge lovers of Ruth's Chris's 500°F hot-plated steaks. We take extra precautions while ordering food because we are unable to see what truly goes on inside the kitchen. We appreciate you for this content. Keep up the good work! 🙏🏽🥩😊

A Ruth's Chris recently opened in our city, and I had plans to visit, for a special treat, but after watching this, I just noped out on the whole idea. At 67, I can't eat anywhere near as much as I used to, even 10 years ago. I can still eat whatever I want, just nowhere near as much. Any given single menu item would fill me up, so even with modest ordering, I would be left with a pile of high priced leftovers, more than what I ate, at table. My wife and daughter would never join me, they're just not fans of beef, or hearty eating, for that matter. So, nope.

It's not the meat and fat that make a person fat, it's lots of flour and sugar that can put weight on. Carnivores tend to lose weight. Much of what we think we know concerning diet isn't true.

So, basically, we shouldn’t eat steak at a steakhouse. Got it. Just to check, are the salads acceptable in your humble opinion? Perhaps with a side of water?

@@markcollins2666 two things with that: one, I would bet 95% of people ordering that steak do so with the intention of enjoying some great leftovers (the only thing better than cold chicken being cold steak); two, taken all together, based upon the “foods you should never eat” at these restaurants in total, one would come to occupy a place whereby the only foods one could eat at said restaurants are maybe the salads with a side of water. These lists in their totality are ridiculous; a shorter option (which I know would obliterate the channel’s ad revenue) would to just come out and say we don’t think people should eat at steakhouses, Italian restaurants, most fast food restaurants, French restaurants, or seafood restaurants, and adopt a mostly vegetarian diet.

The other problem I have with these ridiculous videos is that the content creators are so scientifically illiterate that they seem to not understand that: the USDA recommendations have been found to be wildly inaccurate (yeah, because eating nearly a dozen servings per day every day of carbs always makes sense); and the macros inherently assume that people (yeah, because every person has the same nutritional needs) are eating specific amounts every day of their lives. Which is a ridiculous assumption of a place like Ruth’s Chris. Yeah, I’m sure literally everyone (who makes several million $ annually to afford this premise) is eating at Ruth’s Chris every day of their (admittedly short, but likely very happy) adult lives.

All of the steaks are perhaps the most nutritious food a human could eat. All 9 essential amino acids to heal the body. You worried about health? Lets talk about seed oils, pseudo-B12, iodine and vitamin D deficiency, oxalates. Now go back to the menu and see if there is a spinach salad on there. Put that at the top of your list unless you absolutely hate kidneys.
