Guizhou and Yunnan are all mountainous areas. They used to be the poorest areas in China. Now these two provinces are the areas with the highest density of highways and the most bridges in China. Because of the improvement of transportation, these areas have become the areas with the fastest economic growth in China. I have driven almost all those bridges in Guizhou. You don't feel any fear when driving on the bridge because it's just a highway.

That's great for the people living there, very smart of them to build the bridges.
I understand why the Chinese are so proud. Amazing engineering achievements!

Who’s here after the francis scott key bridge collapse? So similar to the original skyway bridge. All bridge pillars should be protected by dolphins (barriers) 360 degrees around in my opinion.

Yeah doing it on the backs of the world by stealing intellectual property of other countries because they couldn't do it on their own.
I grew up crossing the golden gate bridge and the sanfransisco/oakland bay bridge. Both these bridges are hundreds of feet from the water surface and take like five to fifteen minutes from end to end. With earthquakes being so common here it really is scary. There's very little chance of surviving a three hundred foot fall.
I went on the sunshine skyway two weeks ago. It was quite scary but we got over it safely. It’s a pretty bridge.

One of the bridges over Lake Pontchartrain in New Orleans isn't high but it's 26 miles long across the lake. You can't see land on either end for a good bit of the ride. It's not scary , just an amazing feat of engineering.🎉

Excellent video. Very interesting, informative and worthwhile video.
I went over the old Skyway bridge many times when I was younger. I also crossed it during the week with my job. My wife thought I had driven over that bridge the morning of the accident. Luckily, I had a change of my schedule. Whew!
My parents were on the northbound span of the Skyway when the southbound side was hit. My mom was pregnant with me. She said it was the most terrifying thing she ever experienced.
09:48 - I drove over the Millau Viaduct (No. 2) both in the North direction to Paris and to the South as well. 10:38 - No vertigo and not stomach churning, it was like driving on a normal highway, nothing to it ! - The I drove down into the Tarn Valley to see the Millau Viaduct from bellow. That is very spectacular view and wort the drive down !
I will be brave enough to drive them, but what an awesome job the've did!👌
I’ve been driving over the Skyway Bridge since I was 16 years old. It’s very scary especially on a cloudy & windy day when your car feels like it’s being pushed sideways. It is a beautiful view though and since they added the gorgeous lights it’s cool experience.
All of them respect to the hard workers who built these bridges..
Thank you. I grew up in Canon City, so I drove or walked across Royal Gorge a hundred times while I worked at the park. I would love to drive across the others.

I live in Largo Florida and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge is both exhilarating and terrifying!
I love bridges and have no problem crossing them.
Back in the 60s when I was just a young child, I thought that the Empire State.Building was about as tall as anything could be built and America was the greatest place in the world. Now I see the Sidu River Bridge and it dwarfs the Empire State Building like it was nothing. Oh, boy. America is done for when it comes to construction projects. The street in front of my house is filled with huge cracks and potholes, so I know America has just given up on doing things right. China is the construction king and that's that. America now only leads in crime and homelessness. What a fall from grace for a once-great country. Most of the bridges in NYC, where I live, are old and in disrepair. I suppose nothing good lasts forever.
Nice video 🇵🇭
Arch bridges are very safe and sturdy
In 1998, when we visited the Royal Gorge, no one could "drive" across the Bridge. We walked across, enjoying the view and rode the sky bus back across. Very enjoyable.
the Millau bridge is my favorite ! a master pierce of engineering ! it is necessary to take into account the height of the pillars, because the height in relation to the ground has no importance, whether it is 20 meters or 300 the difficulty of construction is the same. especially since the Millau bridge is 2.5 kilometers long! ...and it is just stunning, elegant, just fabulous!
very good china best

wonderful Bridges in the World
Beautiful video, i like it. I would like to shoot like yours
Not any modern bridge is terrifying! The most terrifying bridges are steel bridges that are not maintained and completely rusty, waiting to collapse. Btw when it comes to big frightning suspension bridges, you may include the Akashi Kaikyo bridge in Japan, which has one of the tallest towers (283 meter) and longest total span in the world (2 km main span, 3,9 km total).
I've driven number 9 before. There's a bridge that crosses the Pontchartrain that is kind of shady too lol. What makes me look twice is that those kinds of bridges get very low and close to the water.... Which makes me wonder what happens during hurricanes

The more terrifying for some, the more exhilarating for others. Different strokes for different folks.
There's actually footage of the wingsuiter hitting the railing of the bride and it is absolutely brutal.
Nice
I don't do bridges very well myself. When I was a kid my father liked to go across bridges with the car. At the Apex, he would always stop the car, and tell us to get out of the car to look over the side of the bridge. (read: Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, the Sunshine Skyway in Tampa, and a few others.) If he were alive today, I think he'd have a heyday with this list. I don't think I would do very well, looking over the sides of any on this list for sure.
