A new benchmark for travel videos: reflective, honest, intimate and entertaining. Thanks for inspiring!
watching you two metropolitans flounder up the mountainside in jeans and Ikea bags had me dying laughing, and seeing the emotions you guys experienced on top almost made me tear up. It made me miss home tremendously! There's nothing more invigorating than being touch by the midnight sun like you two were. It's transcendental! We're not always this lucky with the weater this far north you know, this summer was one for the ages. Next visit should be for the northern lights!
A Nathaniel Drew upload makes the day brighter.

Nathaniel & Team, This was such a beautiful and touching video. The tender music, the childlike abandon, that cinematic ending, the wise words, those unbelievable views, the brotherly affection… just fantastic. ❤ Thanks for the magic. *HUGS*
As a Norwegian myself, it's easy to become blind to the beauty that surrounds us in our everyday life. Videos like this - where we get to rediscover the Norwegian beaty through the eyes of a foreigner is such a delight. But yes - you came really unprepared to that camping! (I hope you left all the sites the way you found it). Seeing you haul that IKEA-bag up the hillside AND you marvel at the midnight sun, made me think of the song "Welcome to the mountains" by the Norwegian group Big Bang: "You're just a poor, little city boy You don't know what you're missing And I say "Welcome to the mountains". Thank you for a lovely video.
You have lifted my heart so high! Thank you for showing us this beautiful natural place and the incredible midnight sun. Watching you guys so delighted in awe of the sun in the stunning landscape was a real treat. I was giggling along with you xx
ughhh! I just love how you express yourself! Your joy, anxieties, mistakes... it's all so beautiful and I am so glad I subscribed to your channel.
I really enjoyed this one. Thank you for capturing this so beautifully. You’re so lucky to have been in that time, in that place, and at that moment to experience the profound beauty of this Earth. And I’m happy to be in this time to have enjoyed it with you both!
Thanks!! I needed that message today!! Your friends seems so genuine, it is really great to see you both enjoying so much. Definitely surreal by the way...
The last sentence hit me hard. Thank you Nathaniel for your amazing work and for being such an incredible human being ❤️
I always enjoy when you make videos of your travels to other countries. I hope that you get to travel a lot more in the future! So many beautiful places and cultures to experience. ❤️
That intro itself is so aesthetic… excited as a consumer and inspired as filmmaker 🫶🏻 Much Love Nathaniel 🔥
Finally got round to watching this one and it's one of my favourite videos of yours. Immaculate vibes from you two just experiencing the world together. Thanks for this one 💙
This is my favourite video of yours. So much warmth, honesty and giggling. Loved it. Your experience is also why I enjoy hiking. There is so much beauty to be found if you are open to seeing it.
I love your videos, literally feels like a mini documentay every time
A wonderful account of the two of you bonding, sharing an incredible setting, and reflecting on what really matters in life. 😁❤️
your laugh is contagious, i unintentionally laughed too. the moments you're laughing with your friend is the best part of this video vlog, i mean the magnificent sceneries are beautifully shot but the moments spend together bonding with your friend caught on cam is most precious.
This was gorgeously done! This is one of my favorite videos from you.
I've been waiting for this video to drop since seeing snippets of it during the Frame x Frame course and it did not disappoint! I genuinely laughed along with you two. Thanks for sharing the entire journey - highs and lows.
Love seeing the JOY in this video. It is palpable. Thanks for sharing such an amazing trip with us.
Thanks for sharing this, really made my day! Amazing video as usual 🥰
That was amazing. You seemed happy. And what a beautiful place.
Everything about this video is so beautiful, I really adore how joyful you both are getting drunk off of the sun and nature. "Perhaps the most important journey we're all on is learning to be okay with what's happening" 🖤
Such an amazing video. I felt so many emotions while I watched this and you continue to remind me of everything that this wonderful life has to offer. Thank you. ❤

So profoundly beautiful! Thank you for bringing us along for the journey, I'll be revisiting this video many times just to savor the friendship, laughter, and deep ponderings captured in this short film. Thank you for being you, Nathaniel! You have found and are leaning into your Dharma and it's both enriching and inspiring to witness. Much love to you and your team!!
Beautiful video, Nathaniel! It was lots of fun to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Wonderful video Drew. And now you can venture North again to see the spectacular Northern Lights!
Looks like a blast - you took the insect situation and laughed the whole time. Which made me laugh. What a wonderful experience.
actually teared up over this video, thank you for this gift of hope and enlightenment and gratefulness, you truly motivate and inspire me to go for all of my most crazy dreams and take those terrifying risks. this is so special to me, i admire you!what a masterpiece!
LOVE this video! Right there with you watching in awe of Earth and our place in it☀️ so beautiful to see such a timeless sense of joy and wonder!
Hey Nate, Amazing work yet again. I hope you are doing well. I have been watching your stuff for around 6 years now, damn, time flies! I like your portrayal of different experiences, countries and concepts while keeping somewhat of a tone of serenity. Your character arc is already amazing as it is. But I'd like to invite you to consider looking into other parts of the world, to understand the philosophy to add to your own and share with others. I would love for you to make a trip to Bangladesh for two weeks or so, try to capture the essence of life like you do and share it with your community. A lot of KZreadrs that do go to these countries end up showing a very fast paced super energetic ultra-active portrayal of the cities in these parts of the world. While that is definitely a part of it, the everyday life in these parts also have a fair share of serenity and altruism. I would love for you to experience it and make a video on it. Trust me, the food is to die for!
One of the best videos I have ever seen! Love audible!
dude. for.real. Amazing content and it's been a blast to watch you and your production values grow. never.stop.
I’m so moved by this. Thank you for sharing ❤
Such an inspiring video! I want to visit Norway now!
Keep making these videos nath, loved it
dis y you the goat. keep the wholesomeness and mundane spontaneity coming. 💙💙
Watching you and your friend enjyoing my country that immensely gave me a new found appreiciation for it. It's beautiful shoots like these that makes me rember how lucky i am to have grown up in a landscape similar to these.
I absolutely love how excited you both got when seeing the sun ☀️ sometimes it’s really the simple things that matter ❤
Dude what were you talking about that this is not the kind of video that you usually make? This is exactly the kind of video you make. Real, honest and beautiful. Can't praise it enough honestly. Everything about this was just spectacular.
Great to see Lucas in a video of yours. Crazy how our meetup in Vienna was already more than a year ago!
Beautiful! Love the ending
Your videos are out of this world. Thanks so much for sharing 🧡💚💛💙❤💜
I felt so many emotions from this video. Thank you 🙏🏼
From a movie, I had seen that Norway was beautiful and added it to my bucket list, but after this video I am speechless. I definitely need to go here! It seems extremely therapeutic. 😍😍😍 Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work.
This was beautiful - on so many levels. Thank you.
The excitement over the midnight sun is heartwarming. I’ve grown up here, not far from where you were, so it’s so normal to me. Beautiful, but not an event per say😊 I think I’ll allow myself a bit of extra awe next summer

Awesome favourite video i've seen - really heartwarming and the laughter
More than the beautiful destination, your friendship with Lucas is what I'll remember from this video
Nathaniel & Team, 🌟 This video was an absolute gem! 🎥 From the heartwarming tunes, carefree vibes, to the epic finale, and the wisdom sprinkled throughout. Those jaw-dropping sights and the bro-bond? 😄 Truly incredible! Thanks for sharing this enchanting journey. HUGS from INDIA! 🌍🤗
Nathaniel, i've been watching you since day one. One of my dreams is that you'll go to my beautiful Somalia one day and do a video from Liido beach saying 'this country has really changed' ... I'm seeing more and more KZreadrs going but yeah. Hope you'll go one day mate.
WOAAAAAAH! This felt like a short movie. Insane Nathaniel. I am speechless. Thank you for sharing once again.
Wow, now I have another thing I want to do! The nature seems otherworldly. It’s beautiful, harsh, captivating and serene. Thank you for sharing!
I love young people having fun. This video made me happy in a way i cant explain
I loved watching this. What a beautiful and natural place!
Beautiful story dang. Seeing the sun deep and come back up is insane. Your reactions made feel like I was there with you. Great job to the editor. Thank you for sharing such an intimate experience with us :)
So unreal, so powerful !!
Beautiful! And funny… Watching you guys navigate the flora and fauna. Jack Kornfield is really a wonderful teacher. I listened to that same book on Audible and then bought a hardcopy. His books are really wonderful as is his podcast. He's a wonderful storyteller. Safe travels!
Beautiful video! Life is just a bunch of stuff that happens. It's that simple. We can choose whatever meaning we want to apply to it. We can either be in awe and observe everything with beauty just as it is or we can see many things as inconveniences or bland. The choice is up to each of us.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing that with the rest of the world. Now I'm envious. But the glass igloos of Kakslautannen in Finland are on my bucket list, so hopefully I'll be able to follow in your footsteps before I die.
There’s a reason why my husband and I chose Norway for our honeymoon: it’s just non-stop gorgeous. Eye candy was around every corner; fjords, waterfalls, the endless night sky, mountains, beautiful towns and villages, with cultural delights. Even when its raining and dreary, we could find quiet little luxuries in every place we went. It’s not the cheapest country on the map; I love it just the same.
That is so cute how y’all are laughing the whole time. You were in the right mindset for a bit. That should be a yearly bucket list somewhere else each time.
The words that in my head right now . God bless you Nathaniel ❤ Your videos are incredible, inspiring, and full of love , and beauty ✨ Thank you, for being who you are, for sharing your world ❤️
Simultaneously LMAO and also blown away by the beauty. Thank you. 🙏
I had thought there were clips in other videos of Norway! I feel so much self validation. So blessed to be able to call this beautiful country home ❤ it was the best decision I’ve ever made to move here from the states. Glad you enjoyed!
I love how it went from “this is the worst idea” to “this is the best moment in my life” - thank you for the honestyyyyy i also feel sk awkward while hiking but i love it
Wonderful! Each video is better than the last!😃👌👍
Wow wow wow. Thank you for this!
I just came back last week from a roadtrip with my father where we drove through a big part of Norway. around every corner, after every mountain a new landscape I had never seen before stretched out in front of me and I had to keep reminding myself that what I saw was real. This video really captures that same feeling :) And makes me want to go back during the summer to experience this too
Absolutely worth it getting up!
💜💜💜 welcome to the wonders of life. BIG LOVE to you Nathaniel as always.
Hi Nathaniel 👋, It’s so cool that you and Lucas were able to experience watching the midnight sun, something that I think many of us (myself included) would’ve never imagined for ourselves in real life. I guess you can say that life and nature have their ways of reminding us to be grateful to be alive and live our lives to the fullest while we still can. Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗
Beautiful video ❤ 🇳🇴 I recently lived in Norway for a year and there’s no place like it. “ut på tur aldri sur!”
perfect timing as I start my first winter in sweden. The time has changed yesterday and now the sun sets far earlier than i have ever experienced in my life. I am so worried what this winter will do to me in the darkness, but your story in this video is so beauitful- it may be all worth it :)

The darkness is hard, but when there's snow it will be brighter and you'll fill your days with your own light. Hope you will enjoy your first winter in Sweden ❤
The mosquito plague in the Scandinavian countries is why Fjällraven developed a special G-1000 material for clothing. Mosquitos, bees or any other insects cannot penetrate this. However, not all G-1000 materials have this property, and the ones that do are probably too warm for summer. Your video was fun to watch; thank you!
Absolutely stunning!
got me weeping by the end in a very beautiful way
This is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen on KZread in a long time ❤
I am Portuguese (I live in Lisbon), but I lived in the north of Sweden for two and a half years (hoping to move back soon) and I can attest that 1) the nordic mosquitos are unreal, I usually say they are on steroids, 2) the midnight sun is the most stunning thing I have ever witnessed in my life and 3) it does feel like time slows down there
Dude, you enrich my life! Thank you!

You were super lucky with the weather!!!
The unbridled joy of nature was beautiful to witness, thanks for bringing us this moment in time
Yet another amazing video. I love the melody at the end of the video. It was used in a previous video as well. What is the name of that song?
