I just tried this at my gym. Very effective...actually its more than that....its devastatingly effective. Great anaerobic work out in working your feet fast & correctly. Can't undervalue the time & dedication those professional fighters put into learning this technique. Great lesson Coach. And props to the young cat in the ring with you.

Hell yeah! Now we need a video on how to use the peekaboo against an opposite hand fighter. If you slip to the left against a southpaw, you’re moving your head into their hook.

Hi Tom, please think about the possibility to make some extra short, slow-motion videos? This video works fine as a primary learning material but when I want to incorporate these drills into my training routine, I have to watch these videos again and again. This is quite inconvenient. Or you could become a patreon creator and share these videos with patreons. Think about that! All the best to you!

Hello sir. I always love your video and analysis. Boxing, to me, is more wood behind fewer arrows. MMA is spreading yourself very thin. While Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship does remove the risk of concussions (or realistically reduces it)-by unwrapping the hands and making them less of a weapon-it’s precisely that’s unwrapping that damages the hands and short circuits any career. It’s boxing that can produce a career that’s more defensively responsible and more lucrative. This is the bit where and I apologise to you, sir. It’s about Deontay Wilder. He has proven that skills are irrelevant. Don’t get me wrong: Wilder is hard worker and very disciplined. But he is not interested in those 2,160 seconds; he only cares about 2 seconds and can afford to lose rounds. Look at Fury. A beautiful boxer with head roll, shoulder roll, feinting, and ambidextrous boxing. Despite taking defence to the next level, he still gets dropped by Wilder. I think Fury is trying to leave boxing, because in his mind all that wonderful defence does not stop you from suffering concussions 🤕. Maybe I am pessimist, and I apologise if I sound like one. Wilder, and Fury, are both outliers. Not all boxers abandon skills for power, and not all tall opponents can dance 💃🏾 like Fury. Anyway sir, thank you for this wonderful video:).

i dont like how the kid switches stances like that, raising feets then switching its too slow, the way i do it is by gliding from normal stance to southpaw and it much faster this way, u have to keep you feet as close as possible to the floor for maximum speed
