Wasn’t sure where you were going with the graph at first but it’s SO true. It took some time for me to realize sometimes the folks you wanted/expected to work with just didn’t fall on the graph right and the bright side is it makes room for the willing who really want or need the guidance! Great vid.

Absolutely! Every ‘perfect’ person you take will be an infinite source of fulfilment and future referrals. The DIYer will be stress for two years, they’ll take up cognitive space you could be spending on great clients … and then they’ll leave.
Good video. We found that there are a LOT of self-diagnosed DIYers out there. But after a 30-minute call, they realize the value of a planner. Don't discount the DIYers to early. But I totally get your message here.

Absolutely excellent video. I loved this, and it's so right!
Hi Josh thanks for the great video and welcome back! I love these videos as I get to learn other insights from different advisers around the world and use some of that in my daily life. Keep up the great content all the way from New Zealand!

Thanks for watching Ryan! I need to visit NZ. It's the warm version of Canada. That sounds perfect?!
Hi Josh, Just wanted to pop in from South Africa, glad to see you are back. I think addressing the Advisors and tips and tricks for them rather than focusing on what you think a client would want to see in your videos is a great shift, to be honest I think most of your audience was someone in the Financial industry all ready. At least from my side the change in video content has made me want to watch every single one going forward, compared to only watching a select few in the past. Looking forward to seeing what's to come

Hi Josh, great content, as always, but I wanted to ask you what did you use to draw on that comes up as a black screen with red and green markers?
Great video!!!!!
What great content. Where are you and your new videos? I’m getting into the industry and consuming info.
This is very great and relatable content as a new ChFC this struck a chord with me as I just landed my first Sam recently thank goodness I have no Bobs and thanks to your video I can avoid working with them if at all possible. 😂
nice video, what tool are you using to do that graph?
I'm highly considering a future in Financial Advising and I'd like to know your opinion on the app Acorns (potential video idea?). Love your videos and the insight and wisdom into the FA world. Keep up the great work!

I love the idea. I wish every Wealth Management platform had the ability to implement an Acorns style feature for its clients.

No case on your iPhone?? You must be an aggressive investor! Lol. Would love to see a video with a value log quantifying what we do for clients. I have this conversation sometimes when onboarding new clients, but would be curious to hear your version.

I'd encourage you to invest in an overall mental shift that the right thing to invest in isn't a "thing" but a system towards your vision. Dependent on how large or far out your goals are, the system required could be completely different. But here's a hint to get started: Does the vision for your life require more than 20x your lifetime invested capital? (All the contributions you could make to your investments over your life?) If yes, you need to think about investing the majority in your own skills and personal development because you'll need to start a business. If no, you need less than 20x, then you can probably start working towards prudently investing the money in public markets.
