Even in a SMT game when you encounter a boss that is just way too damn strong for you to defeat the game will at least humor you by still initiating a battle (where you will promptly die) but in The Ultimate Chimera is just a OHK, no questions asked. That is kind of brutal.

Charlie McFarlin Did you ever play Strange Journey? I remember there was one side quest where these angels were having difficulties with Yggdrasil and they ask for your help. If you accept they take you to a place you haven't been to before and then Yggdrasil nearly kills you before you're saved by something and booted out of the area for a while. Later on you come to an area in the game that looks oddly familiar. Sure enough you fight Yggdrasil again, except this time you should be strong enough to win. You beat him, and then you realize that you saved yourself from getting killed earlier on your first attempt. Shit was weird.

I just realized something, the ultimate chimera does 100% damage in Brawl which implies that even in Brawl if it didn't have a percent system when it comes to HP, it still would likely be an instakill. That's probably not the case in stamina smash but it's just a thought.

King statue would win chimera would crush all its teeth the damn statue is only weak to magic plus with a bite powerful enough to one hit kill Bowser the dude who shrugs off lava like every god-damned day its teeth would be destroyed as if a surface can survive the bite those teeth are done we are given no indication how strong its teeth are but even if they were made of titanium the statue just has to tank one or two bites than chimera is totally fucked it can't do anything else plus it is shut off with a button

fact: i use the ultimate chimera to help me remember the French word for shirt (chemise). This happened when I was practicing words for different clothes in French, because my French class is online, and at the last class of every year, we have a fashion show and describe what we are wearing. So I was going through the words again and the next one that pops up is “shirt”. I was like “oh man what’s shirt again” then my brain drifted to the ultimate chimera and I was like “OH IT SOUNDED LIKE CHIMERA” and the next thing I know, I got the word for shirt right. So thanks, ultimate chimera, for assisting me during French class.

This should be in Creepy Moments lol. First time the Chimera lab scared the shit out of me.

truthfully, i believe whoever would get the first strike wins out in this situation, unless one of them is invincible to one another... who knows? maybe light arrows are the ONLY thing that can beat orne? Or maybe the ultimate chimera is immune to instant kills... it's not a very conclusive fight given the lack of information.

Quote in the game you can’t battle it. And in smash the chimera does 100% and INSANE knock back. Orne has no limbs. Even if Orne did manage to hit the button he would have not known that the chimera would turn back on with the bird.. thus making the Ultimate Chimera victorious.

You know an enemy is powerful as shit when it insta-kills you when when you try to fight it, before you even get to the battle screen.

Dylan Carrier UC needs three bites to kill. Orne just need just one touch from either side. UC needs around 3 bites...

In Smash Ultimate, Ultimate Chimera now just instakills you. You lose your stock and die right then and there, just as if you got knocked into a hazard in Great Cave Offensive.

King Statue: 99999999 hp, takes only 1 damage. 16-bit block: finally, a worthy opponent, our battle will be legendary!

The Ultimate Chimera flips the switch, usually Lucas is the only one who can kill people just by running into them

Speaking of instakills... Dungeon Guardian in Terraria. It deals 999 damage upon contact(which is far, FAR more than anything else you can encounter in the game), all attacks do only 1-2 damage to it, and it has 9999 HP. Not to mention it chases you down at almost the fastest speed possible. And if that's not enough, just take too long to complete the Skeletron Prime boss fight - and it will gain all the stats of the Dungeon Guardian while maintaining its HP(up to 24000). As the boss is pretty difficult and the timer is only indicated by the phase of the night, the sudden instakill by the giant Statue of Liberty head the boss turns into can very easily come off as a jumpscare.

To be fair on Thieves at least they don't kill Link in one hit. Scaldera in Skyward Sword though is an honorable mention for the Zelda series. Before you fight him you have to run from him after getting the boss key where he is disguised as a giant rock. If Scaldera runs you over you die instantly. Thankfully there are plenty of Stamina Fruit on the path so you can easily keep a steady run going all the way down. At least when you actually fight Scaldera he is just about as strong as any other enemy and loses the ability to one hit kill you by running you over.

So far there are only 4 Zelda enemies that I know of that can kill you instantly. Scaldera in his boulder form before the battle with him in Skyward Sword, the shopkeeper from Link's Awakening, and Dark and Armored Trains from Spirit Tracks. I guess you could technically include The Imprisoned because he causes an instant Game Over if he reaches the temple but that really is not killing you in one hit really. It's more or less a mission failure. He just reaches the temple, eats Impa, then presumably destroys the structure and escapes the Sealed Grounds.

So happy that you did a video over my favorite game. :)

It's a hard decision between Ultimate Chimera and The king statue, but Ultimate Chimera is without a doubt the most powerful character in gaming ever. Not only does the King Statue have that incredible weakness, but he's actually able to be killed, where as Ultimate Chimera can never die. All you can do is run, hope someone hits the button and pray to god the bird doesn't hit the button on its own.

As a suggestion, similar to the Ultimate Chimera: There's a random enemy in the lower levels of the Moria Mine from Tales of Phantasia (SNES version) called "Urchin". It's completely impervious to all attacks, and instantly kills any character that gets touched by it. Oh, and let's not forget how the lower levels of the Moria Mines are one of the most challenging dungeons I've ever played.

I love Mother 3, however, running into an enemy has one flaw, it gives no experience!

Considering how the orne, even said by sakurai, is said to be "even more powerful than the ultimate chimera", that'd definitely be an enemy to consider putting on the list. Sure, it can be killed, but only by a singular weapon that you can't fight them with in smash.

I´m still wondering why you can´t even hit it at all in smash run, as in Kid Icarus Uprising, you can actually hit it with the 3 sacred treasures and in some chapters with low enought difficulty setting, can be killed by standart attacks. Heck, even a starman is enought to prevent it from killing you. I wonder how smash run would be like if final smashes were avaiable...

+starman021087060904 the robloxian It's completely impossible, apparently. If you don't use PK Flash or New Year's Eve Bomb, you will eventually run of health and die, he simply has too much HP. And even if you use cheat device codes to make your characters do far more damage or have unlimited health, the game will crash when you've done a certain number of damage to him.

The part where you’re running from the Ultimate Chimera in Mother 3 is the most nerve-wracking part of the game

He wont battle me no matter how many times i talk to him. Why wont he fight me?

You need to defeat Miracle Fassad first, who is found in the sewers. THEN you can fight the Porky Statue.

The Ultimate Chimera will literally fucking insta-kill you now in Smash Ultimate. No knock-back or 100% or anything, just a bite and you're fucking gone. *Holy shit.*

Those SBosses' stats: UC: HP: Unknown Attack: Insta-Kill Defense: Unknown King's Statue: HP: 99,999,999 Attack: Arround 500 Defense: Unknown (Suffers 1 DMG only)

When I played Smash Brawl when I was younger, my sister and I always played on the New Pork City stage and laughed whenever we got caught by it. It was so scary though

4:24 My Mii in Smash 4 is 1rst, I made it so that it had a colossal attack that could do 63% in one hit (Customisations + Mii "properties" included though).

Congratulations, I am now too terrified to play Mother if it means experiencing this

If you haven't played it yet, you should know the Ultimate Chimera's sections are made much less scary by the fact getting killed by it only makes you lose several seconds of progress. It's very close to save points.

Oh god, not the pink thing. OH GOD. When i saw your most powerful character series, One of the character I thought was this guy. You should do kid Icuras enimies next. There's a lot.

Also the boss in the flying section of Chapter 9. It's intill Dark Pit (or Pitoo) kicks it.

A Slitherhen! Awesome! Almost as cool as a Griffindoor! Oh yeah, and if I remember rightly, Game & Watch's Judge, if it lands on 9, has identical stats to a fully charged Home Run Bat. I think.

It's literally impossible to defeat King Statue any other way - even if you do use cheats to keep your characters alive for long enough to survive, the game apparently crashes after he takes a certain number of damage.

Kibchi Redanlae Instakills are one of the most annoying things in video games that don't give you lives in my opinion. This game frustrated the CRAP outta me, honestly.

1/128 challenge get must be way easier in Mother 3 then it is in Earthbound

Fun fact.... The Ultimate Chimera was going to be a boss but they scrapped it because you’ll probably get murdered anyway even if you used cheats or are to over leveled

I am so glad that the new year's eve bomb exists. Can you imagine having to fight that statue the old fashioned way? You'd be sitting there even after beating Yiazmat and Adamantoise. I personally haven't played Final Fantasy but those bosses are infamous.

I always found the crunching sound really unsettling when I played this on an emulator as a young teen. Like, what the fuck? A small child is being crushed in the jaws of a monster.

fun fact, you can actually kill it.... only in Super Smash bros Brawl, if it spawns on the bottom segment of New Pork City, you can break the breakable platform with the Ultimate Chimera on it having it fall to it's death... until it reapears

If the Mother series is officially going to remain a trilogy, I would love to see some assets being handed over into other franchises. Then we'd just need a Nintendo game where the level cap is higher than 100.

There is one way you can truly defeat the chimaera **tilt the cartridge and crash the game before it kills you**

There is a game in Gmod called "Gmod Chimera Hunt" (I think everyone knows that by now in 2019) where the Pigmasks will press the UC's button, and may kill other Pigmasks in the process. Also, why won't the Pigmasks know why there is a bird on the UC's head? They could go like "Oh? A bird? When did that get there?" so they won't waste time in survival, but no! They wanna go to Hell because they work for an immortal.
