This is the first time I see a woman passionate about HiFi audio! Just amazing! And she is not just someone with loads of money who asked somebody to build her a million dollars stereo system, she knows everything in detail, highly impressive! Respect lady!

This is a perfect example of "It's never enough". For audiophiles, you will always feel the need to upgrade as far as your budget allows.

Unbelievable. This is quite a video. This sweet little old lady owns all this equipment in a 47 year journey? I have no words. Incredible story. Being from Toronto, this makes me proud.

old joke: One beggar to another : "you know, I was super rich once upon a time.. then I started noticing my music system was not sounding "good enough".

The most important component for the true audiophile is the quantity of disposable dollars available for the purchasing of ever more esoteric, boutique and expensive doodads.

I wonder how she made the amount of money it takes to not only have a single million dollar system but MULTIPLE million dollar systems?!

Regardless of the gear being cost prohibitive for most…the knowledge base is undeniable. The insight stemming from her years of experience is invaluable.

The simple truth is the room is the single most important component in your system. After that everything else is secondary.

If Angie’s audio equipment is worth millions I can only imagine the value of her home. What did she do for a living to acquire this wealth? She said Audio equipment dealer.

Someone with extreme high-end equipment on KZread that actually knows what they’re talking about, unlike a certain other ‘extreme high end’ lab.

Wow, I used to live in Ontario and talked to Angie many times about equipment and music and even though I couldn’t afford her really high end equipment she showed me pieces that I could afford and they always sounded excellent I’ll always remember one I walked in and she told me she was breaking in a Set of Focal Grand Utopia speakers for a customer and said I should just go in and have a listen. What a treat and what a perfect audio perfectionist. Thanks Angie

What a treat! I love seeing all this gear in a real home, with records strewn everywhere. This woman is clearly a music lover. Every time she thinks to clean up some of the clutter, she gets sucked into the music coming from her system. And the vintage pieces in mint condition are such a treasure.

I remember Angie back in the eighties when her store was on Queen Street where I bought my Sound Lab A3s. I once visited her "new" location in Richmond Hill years ago. Congrats to her she has done amazingly well.

I love her! Thank you for this. As an older woman who is also an audiophile often there are not many like me out there to set an example inviting for younger women into this hobby. She's just wonderful and I'd very much love to have a conversation with her some day.

Angie is the best. I've had the pleasure of listening to these systems one Sunday afternoon. That experience really recalibrated my perception of what a high end system should be like. This video should be a reference on how to build an ultra high end system. Well done Angie and Thomas.

I've been passionate about high-fidelity audio since 1973. In around 1980, I began pondering.... my next visit to Toronto I will... and he decades passed and then, it happened: this incredible production found its place in my listening room. I'm truly grateful for the effort you and your team invested in creating this masterpiece. I'll definitely be watching it repeatedly; it's truly exceptional, setting it apart from the rest!
