The most historic melee tournament of all time just happened and it impacted me so heavily I just had to get a video out as fast as possible to capitalize on that feeling. All the runs that occurred and the level of play from all our top players was something insanely special. The Big House 10 was crazy in so many ways so I hope I was able to express that in the video. Music was okay. Not the worst but not the best. 6/10
"Can Mango win?" "NO!" It takes something truly special to make Scar forget his Mango bias but we found it
If you follow the progression of tier lists, aMSa single handedly brought Yoshi into mid tier from where their bottom five spot prior to 2013.
Not only can a yoshi win the most stacked bracket of all time, we are living in a timeline where there could soon be 9 different mains represented in the top 10 (maybe even 10 if slug really pops off), 20XX is dead, long live 20eggseggs

To this day amsa’s win is just the best. In the most stacked tournament playing one of the best players twice, with a character he pushed from low to mid, on a map which was previously picked to counter Yoshi, against the number one character. And he comes out on top

Hearing toph go crazy right as amsa won always makes me tear up. he was so happy for his boy.
This video did an admirable job of covering the tourney in just over 20 minutes. I could really feel the passion behind the subject matter.

This just proves that we're in a new era of Melee. An era when it may be possible for any character to win a tournament with enough determination and grit. Amazing video man!

I hate when people blame a phantom for a loss. If you hit a phantom, then you missed. The phantom wasn't the cause for the loss.

I don't think you understand what a phantom hit is. You've hit the player, and you can even see the damage increase, but the knock back doesn't register due to a glitch.

@@redwiz2144 no. A phantom is when your hit box hits only 1 pixel on the opponent’s hurt box. So essentially, you missed.

@@redwiz2144 Or you actually didn't hit the player and the game decided to give you 50% of the abilities damage. I don't know why everyone assumes phantoms are hits, when they literally happen when you're on the line between hitting and wiffing. Why does noone ever say you actually missed.

great vid, but you might want to make the music something a little more palatable. the screeching opera singer on top of the rap song was a bit harsh to listen to. again very good video.
