We are living in a time when certain churches have embarrassed the worldly ways. What God has detested and condemned some churches have embraced. They have appointed religious leaders who identify with the world and it's lusts. They misinterpret the holy Scripture to suite their purposes. God is watching and hearing. He will come again to take his saints and to destroy the wickedness.

It's like a Professor in college, he tells you what he wants and you decide to do against it, if he fails the student, does that mean he is unjust?, No it does not, he gave clear instructions. That is actually what justice is. Also, looking back what a physical declaration of a spiritual matter, she showed where her heart was, you can not be double minded, unstable in your ways. Also, concerning the daughters, yes it was incest, but it was to preserve their father's name after him. Also, before the Torah, people did not view marriage amongst family members as incest. The contrast between Lot and Abraham is noteworthy. Abraham was a righteous man, who separated himself from evil, and stayed loyal to God. So God blessed Abraham, and all his descendants. Abraham's prayers resulted in Lot's life being spared. Lot went a different path, began to acclimate to life in Sodom and betrothed his daughters to Sodomite men. Had those daughters actually married and had children, their offspring would have become corrupt and likely have worshipped idols, and forgotten God's commandments. It's interesting the wicked people of Sodom sought to have relations, by force, with the angels. It shows the people of Sodom were so wicked that they could not recognize the presence of God in their midst, even when He sent His messengers. There is a theory that fallen angels mated with human women and from this a wicked race of people were born, and those were destroyed in the flood. Similarly, Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for their rebellion, and prevented from creating a wicked generation that certainly would have led to even more pain and destruction had it been allowed to continue. So many lessons, and prophecy, contained in these passages... and still relevant today.

Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and patience , towards the evil of ungodly mankind. You do not want any to perish in the eternal flames of hell. We must pray for our nation, our friends and family and the unsaved in our world.. We also, must understand that , even if we do everything we can and pray continually for the lost, their own decisions will be on their heads. God is perfect and He has ways to help others come to Him, that we may not have. Yet, how many of mankind will not be saved , because of their own behaviors. We must continue to pray for people but some will not listen and will not repent regardless of how we live or what we say. It is our responsibility to talk to those , who are not saved, but it is not our responsibility for others to come to the Lord. That is everyone 's individual choice and their consequences for those choices. Pray for others and ask our Lord how to help them find Him.

I disagree. It was her desire to remain there that caused her to look back. It is also why Lot pleaded with the angles to allow him to just go to the little town over there instead of the mountains as he was told to do. Neither wanted to leave.

They were told to run and don’t turn back or they would die. She didn’t listen and died because she wasn’t running. Just like Eve eating from the tree they did it to themselves. In the bible it says when the Antichrist comes to run to the mountains and don’t go back for another or we will die

Do you really believe what you just wrote?. If Lot and his wife had other children, then why did the daughters and lot not look back? And also why didn't the girls mention their dead siblings after everything?. The daughters were engaged to be married, there were no other children, that's why one of their greatest fears was "which men will marry us now, after all this?". She turned back out of curiosity, out of an attachment to the life she lived in Sodom and out of disobedience. And Disobedience is rebellion and rebellion is the same as the sin of Witchcraft.

The two married daughters and their husbands, along with the two future bridegrooms, remained in Sodom and perished, leaving Lot with only two daughters after the destruction of the city. After adding them all up, 4 daughters, 2 son-in-laws, 1 Lot, 1 Lots wife, 2 men supposed to marry the 2 daughters that escaped. That's 10 😂👍🏻

@freelanceblogger2542 I will admit, it's passed down by tradition from the Rabbis. I've heard a lot of preachers preach it as well. I can't say for a fact that's how it went down being i wasn't there, but it kinda makes sense to me. It may not have been recorded that way for many reasons. I guess when we get to heaven, we can ask Lot himself 😅

I think Lot's daughters were corrupted from living in Sodom. Notice also the family was dragged from the city by the angels and did not actually flee. It is likely their parents were not strong in the faith, especially considering allowing them to become engaged to Sodomites. Then the mom was turned to a pillar of salt, looking back suggests doubt? regret? There were people living in surrounding areas. The family chose to live in a cave. It doesn't seem like Lot really repented after escaping Sodom?

There are other Bible stories of people being lost, even living in a cave, and some pray and seek God rather than resort to sin. It seems clear the daughters knew their father Lot was drinking heavily and took advantage of that. Also - the family must have some way to the outside world to either buy wine or to harvest wine.

One of the stories that I read about Lot's wife is that she left the house when the Angels had come pretending that she needed salt and when she was gone she warned the the people that these Angels were there she didn't know they were Angels but she's the one who let the townspeople know that there were three beautiful men in her home. Hence God turned her into a pillar of salt

What’s so intriguing to me is that God has so much love and mercy that he would be willing to spare the city for just 5 righteous people if Abraham had asked.

I think the Angels could take care of themselves since Lot was giving the horrible people outside his daughters 😢

The narrator make it sound like it was a saving for Sodom, when it was saving Lot and he restored everything that was lots and took nothing (idols of precious metals and such) for Abraham's family. It was written that the judges would sit in the gates of the towns to determine what was just. At 15:56 an image of a bearded man with two rows of upper teeth, this was a little known feature of some of the nephilim, besides their stature and some had six toes or fingers or all such as a sign of who they were and their lineage. That is not an image of Lot.,

In Luke 17, Jesus relates that in the days of Noah and a few lines later, the days of Lot, the Son of Man would come. Both of these edicts involve the direct judgment of God. And it tells us how close the rapture of the Church is -
