I loved Nin's shirt in this video! "Cats make me happy, humans make my head hurt" is a sentiment I can definitely agree with. I literally got a headache earlier today from having to deal with humans at work. But now I am relaxing with my kitty cat (his name is Theo, nickname Mister Purr) sitting on a pillow next to me doing... guess what? Purring.

I remember my uncle used to run a hotdog business, he would actually add lettuce and thousand island dressing onto a footlong. It doesn't taste that bad from what I remember.

@@phantomstrider I actually really love Corn Dogs [although it depends on who makes them], and I also like Bar S Hot Dogs [although I prefer Oscar Mayer, Hebrew National, and Ball Park hot dogs]. Then again, I actually like raisins [I don't understand why so many people don't like raisins, I think they're delicious]. Speaking of Raisins, Strider, I would love to see you do a Top 10 Best Will Vinton Claymation works list. He's done a lot of stuff, including the California Raisins [Meet The Raisins won an Emmy for a good reason!], but he's also made The Adventures Of Mark Twain Movie, various short films [including an adaption of French classic The Little Prince that is one of the most faithful adaptions of the story], and Holliday specials: which includes one of the, if not THE best Christmas Specials ever [Claymation Christmas]. Will sadly lost control of his studio, the documentary Claydream goes into more detail, but be warned, it's a very bittersweet story.

As somebody who lives in Michigan, I’m just glad that the coney island hot dog was not on this hated list. There is nothing more tasty than a steamed hot dog cover with beanless chili, sprinkled with diced onions and drizzled with mustard (even though I myself prefer not to have mustard on my hot dogs).

As a Chilean, I can give my opinion on Sushipletos! First off, they're more of a novelty item, most people would probably only eat them once to taste it, and then continue eating Completos and Sushi separately. As far as taste goes... they're fine, they're not awful, but they're also nothing great, I think a regular Completo is 100% better than a Sushipleto. If anyone comes here to Chile, you definitely have to try a Completo, they're delicious a genuine national treasure.

Well one thing is for certain, i'd rather eat a corn dog, over a bar S any day. bar S is a culinary abomination, and a disgrace to the food industry! alot of people will agree with me, since bar S simply sucks, corn dogs are a pretty good quick snack on a summer day. and I'm not saying there perfect, not by any means, but if you don't have much time, corn dogs, with the condiment of your choice, it does the trick.

Ah, corn dogs. My middle school had them: they are associated in my mind with other staples of New Mexico school lunch, along with refried beans, dry corn bread, and jello with vegetable bits.

Looks like the Danish hotdog dodged a bullet here. I just had a homemade one for dinner the other day: Fried onions, diced raw onions, pickled cucumber slices, ketchup, mustard, and remoulade. Remoulade is one of our hot dog specialities. We make it so uniquely that we have a dedicated sub-heading on remoulade's Wikipedia page.

I've tried making my own Tunnbrodsrulle a few times, being intrigued by the combination of ingredients. My findings: -Potato Salad is a good substitute for mashed potato, I actually prefer it. -Try experimenting with different kinds of onion; I prefer freshly chopped red onion, but spring onion or fried onion is also good. -A lot of swedes also add pickle relish. (I have tried both with and without, and I can take it or leave it honestly. It's alright either way.) -Imitation crab/surimi sticks work as an easy substitute for shrimp salad, especially when you've already substituted the mashed potato with potato salad as I suggested earlier. (Otherwise the two types of salad just end up mixing together.) -Try adding a handful of arugula or other shredded lettuce for a bit more bite. -Optionally, you can add a bit of freshness with a dollop of cream cheese or sour cream.

Any of those brands that make hot dogs out of a mixture of chicken, pork and beef are pretty much guaranteed to be awful. Just get the all beef hot dogs if you want decent ones.

In the UK, it's really hard to find real hot dogs. Often they're made with ordinary sausages, or the dog is made of mechanically separated chicken or turkey, rather that pork or beef.

I remember a one from the mid to late 1980's in New Jersey, U.S.A. I do not remember what it was called but I called it an "Italian Dog" In a toasted hot dog bun. You place a spicy Italian sausage, split open lengthwise. On that was ketchup, mustard & relish. roasted potato wedges (HAS to be red potatoes) steamed cabbage, sliced jalapenos and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. It sounds horrible but I liked the clashing flavors. I am in West Virginia, U.S.A. now and they do not know how to make a good hot dog. They are edible though.

I don't mind the corn dog. It's great if you're at a fair. I prefer a breakfast version where you take a pancake and wrap it around a sausage. Then you dip it in maple syrup.

Should have played that clip where Homer keeps buying and eating spoiled meat at Apu’s store. That one scene in which Apu drops and dusts off a hot dog he dropped on the floor, Homer comes in says, “One hot dog, please.” is hilarious.

the funniest thing to me about the swedish hot dog is that "tortilla-wrapped hot dog" was an item quite literally added to the sims 4's high school expansion pack just to emulate how unappetizing and odd american high school lunches tend to be. also, if you want an actually good corn dog, go to a korean-style corn dog resturaunt. the breading to dog ratio will be in proportion, it's not gonna be too soggy, and the dog won't be dried out from being fried too long. they also usually have decent sauces to put on it other than just ketchup and mustard. there's a chain that has a few shops in my area called "cruncheese", and they tend to be pretty affordable compared to other korean-american fast food places i like (looking at you, bonchon.......), but i'm not sure if they're international besides a few shops in korea.

Slaw is used in Carolina style hot dogs with chili and onions, which is similar to Carolina style hamburgers. The crunch and tang of the slaw adds a very nice contrast to the softness and savoriness of the rest of the ingredients.
